BOOTING INFO FOR ANYBODY WITH PAL 3003R PS2 & NEO 2 CHIP
 

Everybody seems to be having problems booting stuff on the new V5 model.I had problems to begin with, could'nt even get Region-X or AR2 1.9 to boot on this setup.After getting AR2 V2 I've had no problems booting CDR-R's at all (all 120 of my games boot first time every time). My method is below:

1. Insert AR2 disk & press reset once
2. Once AR2 has loaded press eject & swap with copy (Don't press eject to close drawer yet)
3. Select START GAME , then WITHOUT CODES.
4. The screen 'Press X to load game appears. Now press eject to slide the tray in & just as the drawer clunks press X.This should work with every game every time.

Hope this helps anybody whos having problems, In my experience this is the most reliable method.

I've got EXACTLY the same set up, including the AR2v2. Have you tested it with DVD-Rs yet? Interested to see the results (escpically considering your other post about PC Worlds deal :)
