what do I put in the image file name box when creating a image of the game in CDRWIN?

put any name that you want to call your file...not really relevant so long as you know what you call it and where you save it.

eg c:/games/images/crashbash/crash bash the last name being the filename.

You will then get a crasbash.bin and a crashbash.cue saved in your folder.

any of you know if i can copy crash bash ntsc without the patch? or do you know where a patch is for it? note that paradogs got the pal patch but not the ntsc i need one for the ntsc.

I don't think anyone cares about cracking the Us NTSC protection patch for this game. It's been over 2 months now since I started looking for this patch and it seems like it's never gonna arrive. The only solution is to find someone or some place who has the English crash bash image file (from unprotected European version) and apply a PAL 2 ntsc patch. Can anyone help with this? And after that, I or someone else should post it on some webspace or newsgroup for others to download. Doesn't that sound reasonable?

You do have some other choices to enable you to play your backup of Crash Bash! Such as installing a switch on your chip to turn it on and off or use the following game shark codes:
