PS2 disassembly ... need help!!
 

I am trying to remove the ribbon cable that connect to the laser units on a V3 NTSC PS2 motherboard.
Do I just pull it out or is there any clip I should release first....

can anyone direct me to a site that give detail instruction on how to disassembly a PS2?

Sorry I can't help with your motherboard.

There is a clip. using a small screw driver pull up on the edge of the housing where the ribbon cable plugs in, BE GENTLE, dont want to break it off.

Thanks for you direction. However their site only teach you how to do a PAL machine and my machine is NTSC V3.
