Is this game protected? I tried to copy it but PSX copy cancelled it?

Use Clone CD, I tried it once and now I have a great backup. Also you can use BlindRead.

I have copied this using Nero, it works fine. I haven't used a patch or anything like that, just rented the game, made a disk image and burned.
So I don't think theres any copy protection.
