Clone CD to eliminate MOD protection?
 

thanx for the tip swatkat. if i set the input settings to the two recommended on the page, and the out put settings to he one recommended, will that eliminate the MOD protection? i have never used Clone CD.. only CDRWIN.

NO! It copies the anti-mod protection as well and therefore the copy will do the same as original.
Ant-mod is only defeated by patching and burning with CDRWin.

CLONECD WILL NOT WRITE THE anti-mod protection . BECAUSE
MOST CD-WRITER CAN ONLY WRITE 16 OR 32 AND NOT 96 BYTE OF SUB-CHANNELL DATA. THEREFORE YOU STILL HAVE TO PATCH THE GAME'S USING
PSXCOPY 6.2 OR CDRWIN!! TO MAKE A WORKING COPY OF ANY PLAYSTATION GAME USING CLONECD! USE THESE OPTIONS!!!
READ SUBCHANNEL FROM DATA : CHECK THE BOX
READ SUBCHANNEL FROM AUDIO: CHECK THE BOX

FAST ERROR SKIP ON : CHECK THE BOX
AND ALSO CHECK THE BOX ON THE "CLOSE THE SESSON".
