confidential mission, gun will not work ?
 

please can somebody tell me if this is normal that a gun will not work the the backup of this game, or am i doing something wrong, please help

most likely you have downloaded the us version on your pal dc or vice versa. You cant use the gun unless you have the pal version on your european dc and the us version on your american dc. Both versions has been released by echelon.

Word has it that the MadKatz gun will work on both PAL and NTSC machines and games. Others may be game or console format specific.

From what I know, the official Sega lightgun will NOT work with the NTSC version of this game. All other brands will. And the Sega lightgun will work with all other video modes of the game (NTSC-JAP, PAL), just not USA.

I personally have a backup copy of this game, and use my Matkatz (which I think makes the ONLY good 3rd party stuff) gun. It works great.
