The best modchip?
 

I want to get the best modchip available. How do they stack up? I'd like to get the one that boots all games straight up w/o a gameshark if there is one. Which ones can play DVD back-ups?

Well, MESSIAH-US didn't happen because Sony crapped on them. That would have been the ideal chip.

Next best is OrigaChip (US) if you can get one (maybe lik-sang.com has some). Needs GS or DVDRX to play backups but will boot import originals. Origa are affected by Sony's actions.

Next best is NEO2.2 (probably still available). Plays EA Games without patch if copied with CLoneCD on a fully compatible burner. Plays DVDRs as well.

I surfed psx services 2 days ago and they didn't have NEO4. I can't see it now either... WHere is NEO4 in PSXServices?
