Help a forum newbie with DJ

Hi, i'm a newbie here, but i am no means a newbie to forums, so don't flame me. anyway, i am making copies of backup DC games with DJ for friends.

My method: Use CD player --> CD image and make an image of the game. then use CD image --> CD recorder to make the game.

i assume this is the method everybody uses because it is the only method i have found that works.

anyway, with some games like Le Mans and the first disc of RE2 i get an error while doing the CD player --> CD image. The log looks like this:

(i)276 Task completed in 00h:08m:00s
(x)17793 (CBD: be000003315e0000105800000, Status 040002, Sense 031100) L-EC or CIRC unrecovered read error
(i)280 Writing track 2 of 2...
(i)279 Write session 2 of 2...
(i)280 Wrinting track 1 of 2...
(i)279 Write session 1 of 2...

this is without ignore read errors on, but when it's on it says, "suppying dummy blocks".

Thanks for your time.

Chris.

Before I can suggest anything, please verify the following. What are you trying to make a copy of, a backed up game or the original game disc?

Of course it's back-up copy - it has session 1 and 2. I don't try it with the DJ but Nero and NTI works well for me while copiyng RE:CV. And I've patched it to make it NTSC.... just give it a try...
