Do burnt games usually freeze randomly...............
 

Im new to burning and iv burnt Capcom vs Snk 2 and every so often the game freezes etc or wont load. Is this common thing to happen or is there something wrong with my cd or the file i burnt it from? Thanks:-)

Burned games is working fine. I think the case is in the brand of the CDR Media you are use, cause if the game refuses to load sometimes - it means GD-ROM Drive can't read your CD-R. Try another media with the good reflection surface....

What kind of cd-r do u recommend? Right now i am using memorex. Thanks man:-)

I've never had problems with black surfaced memorex CDs...

I think it also depends on your burner... mine is Plextor so others might fail where others succeed!

I have the same problem with my snk capcom2 backup. I'm using a TDK burner, and high grade Sony discs. It's interesting though,that the sony discs do not perform as well as some low grade wal-mart discs that I have also used.

Thx for the replies guys. I fixed the freezing problem by just reburning the game onto another disk outa the same packedge. Must have just been a bad cd or something on the first burn job cause it works fine now no more freezes etc:-)
