Help on basics....

Anyone here got a very good and simple guide to patching DC GAMES.
1. What program to use in copying the CD to HARD DISK?

2. What program to use for patching a specific game (ie. Grandia II or SONIC 2 )

3. How to burn the Patched Version.

next is to create A non boot to bootable CD DC GAMES.

1. A copy of a game (ie. MARVEL VS CAPCOM )
2. Create a bootable version of the cd
3. How to burn it...

- complete info about program... step by step process.

-thanks =)~

1) Discjuggler

2) Whatever program that comes with the patch, usually ApplyPPF.exe

3) Sameway you burn any non-patched version, using Discjuggler, Nero, Easy CD Creator

Can't help you with converting non-boot to selfboot though, never needed to do that.

The easiest way to make a bootable copy is if you have an .ISO or .BIN of the game, just run BIN2BOOT and it will make a bootable version.

-=- Well, what if I make a .bin from CDRWIN... Would it work?

Are you asking if dumping a backup disc to a BIN via CDRWin would allow BIN2BOOT to create a bootable CDI image?

If so, it should. If you're asking can you use CDRWIN to make a bootable "BIN" image, I don't think so...

If you've already got the BIN file from the release package, you can convert that using BIN2BOOT and it should work too.

Understand this though, you must burn the resulting .CDI file using Disc Juggler.

Lets say.. I have a copy of a Marvel vs. Capcom 2... that is not bootable... Then I'll go to CDRWIN and make a .bin ... then use the Bin2Boot....

That should work.

It will work
