When to hack...ripper in need of help
 

Ok, I'm new to the ripping scene. I've read a bunch of tutorials and have a few questions.

How do you check/now when a bin file needs to be hacked? And how do you determin witch program to use when hacking? (I.E. dahack, or hack3, etc..)

your question whitch bins you should have to patch: mostly you must only patch the 1st_read.bin, if not try patch all of them, the programs do nothing if they don´t must be patched.
