Any way of converting NTSC games to run at a PAL 50hz signal
 

Ok basically I am wondering whether or not it is possible to convert NTSC games to PAL 50 hz. I have some Japanese backups which seem to run fine on my knackered old 50 hz television but I have no idea how this was achieved by the bloke who copied them for me. I understand all the 60hz pal patching mumbo jumbo but the 50hz thing is making my miniscule computer section of the brain work overtime. If this is a stupid question feel free to flame the hell outta me i can take it i am a grown man (cowers in corner)

I have tried the search button actually. Not a great deal of help for this topic i am afraid. Go on try searching and get something helpful regarding this.

You can't have searched to hard then as the answer is there, coz i've just searched and found it !!

Nowt, you're right, sarcasm is wasted on the terminally stupid.

Just search for "PAL" and/or "NTSC" and you *WILL* find what you need. Look for more than just a week back (I set my search parameters to 180 days).

The reason you (and other newbies who ask stupidly obvious questions) get sarcasm instead of help is that most of us answer the same damned question so many times a day or week that we get pissed when just after posting an answer, someone asks the same question again - only hours or even minutes later.

Ok in that case why bother with the goddamn forum if the only answer is search. It may as well be a FAQ instead. I am merely asking a simple question which doesn't seem to be answered by the omnipresent Search command. I am not a "goddamn newbie" i can copy games, self boot them etc. I just cannot figure out how the PAL patchers work.

So read the .NFO file that comes with it or the file labeled README or READMEFIRST. In most of them, they are quite simple command line interface patchers.

The point of the forum is to help people yes, but not by repeatedly answering the same damn questions ! If your incapable of using the search feature to find the solution to the problem then quite frankly you are a "goddamn newbie" and a stupid one at that, if you don't like the forum go somewhere else and annoy them !
