Starting from scratch

Hi, i've just bought a ps2 and i want to copy my own games and dvd's.I'm going to get it chipped with messiah when its available.I have copied ps1 games so i know a bit about copying. Can someone answer me the following questions?

Will i need to patch the game, i have a plextor writer and i dont need to patch ps1 games.
Will i need to rip the games and dvd's,if so where would i fing a rip program?
Do i need special cd recordables, or can i just use the normal 700 meg cd-r's?

Can i copy dvd movies with clone cd, or does clone copy just the games?

Thanks for your time

Dave

Dunno. I don't do it. You can search the Forum on DVD Movies and you'll find answers.

As to media, any media brand will do when converting DVD movies to VCD.
