SREP+LZMA2:

5.21 GB (with redists included).

Language changes depending on installer language as it damn well should. Congratulations and thank you kindly, Maus-kun!

EDIT: One tiny flaw: Shortcut doesn't have icon because Startup.exe is icon-less. Shortcuts can take icons from Binaries\WarGame-G4WLive.exe.

(I hope that this will only require a Setup.exe update, not full-on recompression - sorry about that, my mistake for not including that information!)

That is a shame, your request information was so good, so detailed, nice to see you know what you want and request accordingly. ;)

And thanks mausschieber for filling the request, nice work as usual. ;)

Grumpy, the reason why this was even possible was due to narrowing the language stuff down to a SINGLE option. The languages in GOW1 are dependent on a single file not relevant to the crack.

As opposed to many games on Steam language options of which are determined by the emulator. And, as you know, there are many different emulators applicable to a single game, each with its own syntax. So if e.g. we adjust The Ascent for the CODEX emu, the way it switches the language isn't the same as in Goldberg emu.

Hence the detailed description of language switching that made it work for GOW1.

Yes, but it is ok to have your legally purchased Steam games for example but want to play those games using an emulator so you dont need to have Steam installed or running.
Fileforums is about creating a backup of legally purchased games and unfortunately the only way to play the backups successfully is by using some type of crack. ;)

xt_zlib is the difference, I did not use that. I'll start using that option from now on and see the results.

Remember that not any game use zlib compression ;)

For example the Gears Tactics game use oodle (in that case use oo2recm8).
