Need A Little Help With FA Protect
I have FA PROTECT V2
But Didnt got anything and i dont know how to use and even install it it would be nice if someone will me with this....... |
This looks like:
- the source of the FreeArc archiver; - ghc, a Haskell compiler; - gtk2hs, probably how to use GTK from Haskell; - a minimum install of MinGW, a C compiler suite for Windows. Wherever you got it from, probably that's where the answer is how to use it. [...] I think you can compile a special version of FreeArc that protects all archives created with it with a password. I found this: https://translate.google.com/transla.../fa_protect.5/ . |
It's literally just an exe file, run the exe file, add a password and then the programcompiles your custom freearc.
|
Okay so it gave me 3 files.........
it didnt asked me any password it asked me a secret word(I entered -->mega) https://i.ibb.co/6RjBZjm/1.png What to do next plz help me am new here........ |
Now you have a custom version of FreeArc (the executables and DLL's other than compile.exe) that always encrypts archives with that "secret word".

What i did was replaced original arc.exe of compressor with the one compiled by compiler in FA_Protect_V2 and after that i got this error.......

And will the compression will be alright I mean will there be any fault beacuse of that RUNTIME ERROR |
This custom FreeArc is not compatible with the cls-*.dll libraries in the Knight Compressor 1.0 package, in particular with cls-precompmt.dll. (If you remove this DLL, you get no error message.) Probably a version mismatch. Don't use them together.
|
Still can do anything with it
Any compressor which works perfectly with this FA PROTECT As i can see every method uses cls library |
