i would like to make dc copy without using modchip, just using a boot cd like utopia.

Dreamcast discs cannot be copied with a standard PC CD-R or CDRW drive. The only way to copy Dreamcast games is by interfacing the Dreamcast and PC together by either Serial or broadband connection and run a special software package on the Dreamcast. It's not something a newbie should try.

The best thing to do is download disc images that have already been created of certain games. Look around the web and newsgroups for disc images, usually either .CDI or .BIN/.CUE combo. .CDI discs are DiscJuggler images and .BIN/.CUE is CDRWin image format.
