Compressor Files ...... OK
..............................
|
Msc : compresses media streams IN FILES. (WAV,RAW audio,MP3)
SREP: makes full length deduplication. In short:it makes files smaller, improves compression ratio, increases decompression speed. XTOOL : alternate for precomp. Very fast. RZ : Compressor, like LZMA,LOLZ,etc. Deduplicates and compresses. Has a few optimizations. (EXE,some media) Btw u have to experience with them.... |
Use MSC:
- For wav audio (msc:wav=1:tak=9) - For Bitmap Files (msc:bmp=1:bmf=9) - For Raw audio / images (msc:raw=1:bmf=9:tak=9) Do not use MSC on dds images since it gets stuck and crashes, but still sends an Errorlevel 0 so FreeArc continues and you end up with a broken archive at the end. Use MPZ for MP3 audio (even on files that contain MP3 audio since MPZ can do streams too). |
Thank you guys
I want to know the other files ... Example .. Nzip Ztool Pzlib Pzlib3 Oggre Oodle OodleMT Etc. too ...What files can compress games large size |
Nzip : archiver ,very-very slow comp/decomp.
Ztool : predecessor of xtool Pzlib : ...... of Ztool OGGRE : OGG file compressor. Oodle: collection of RAD's compression algos OodleMT : multi-threaded compressor for Oodle codecs. |
How can I know out of the games files needs compression Nzip or Pzlib etc. ?

Same goes for pzlib - XTool is much better. So on a normal file, use srep+lolz (srep used to deduplicate data). Only use xzlib (XTool - packcmd = xtool:e:precomp:zlib) on files that contain zlib Streams. Not every file will contain such streams, but you can use Razor12911's Game File Scanner to search files for presence of such streams. |
Where the Game File Scanner ? link please
and thanks for help me :) 1- what is need file compression for large game one file .bin? , and file compression for small size ? Quote:
