why is my dc games in french
 

i bought a dc on ebay, it says ntsc u, but any game that has the option automaticly goes to french. why is this and is there a way to make goto english as the default language. if you do not understand my prob. here is an example. i put in worms world party and it uses the french language not english like it does in my friends, i change the language settings to us englidh and save but when i turn it off and back on it is in french again, soul caliber is in french too. please help if you can

Most likely your backup battery from your DC is not charging and every time you turn on the system it will reset to factory reset. Next time ##### the time on the dc and see if resets to 00:00. In order to recharge your battery, you must turn the Dreamcast on without any games just a controller and leave it for about 24hrs. (I recomend at least 2 days or more) The battery will loose power if the DC was not use for a long time. This is normal.
