Thank you. Which method achieves the highest compression? And the one that handles the best "compression / time" ratio? I always choose 6 but I'm not really into it. Thanks, again

PS: Sorry for this English, I am using Google Translate

for Best compress method read here https://fileforums.com/showthread.php?t=101639

Thank you. I did not know that thread. Last question: splitting the game into multiple discs, does it differ in final compression? Or is it exactly the same? Again, a thousand thanks!

They changed from zlib to kraken.

Edit:

Code:

18:54:26 - Selected ARC/DS method for Data1a-01.bin was: xtool:c128mb:mkraken:core_2.9.5:dd3:l10,d128mb
 18:54:26 - Selected ARC/DS method for Data1b-01.bin was: xtool:dd3+bcm
 18:54:26 - Selected ARC/DS method for Data1c-01.bin was: xtool:dd3+zstd
 18:54:26 - Selected ARC/DS method for Data1d-01.bin was: xtool:dd3:l10,d128mb
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
 21:10:33 - Overall input size: 86,89 GB
 21:10:33 - Overall output size: 41,87 GB (Ratio 48.19%)
 21:10:33 - Overall conversion time: 02:16:05

Devs packed all the USM videos inside PAK files so I extracted all USM videos from PAK files, 38GB in total, and compressed them with bcm.
