1000 nes games on nester .bin
 

hi i downloaded nester for dremacst w/ 1053 nes games. it's a .bin when extracted. i burned it and when i put it in at the utopia bootcd screen, it would change to the metallica spinning reindeer w/ the nester logo on a cd in the background, like normal, but doesn't load the game. it just spins, stops for a second, spins, stops for a second and so on. does anyone have any advise??

It means that you just got a nice coffee coaster that's all..That's why when the raindeer and the spinning disk comes out look closely, it shows someone stomped in to a colum. Like saying "you got a bad one"

my nester is a self boot! try that hope it helps

So is mine......that may be your problem.

I downloaded Nester v3. I have a CD with .NES files in the \GAMES folder. I pop in self-boot Nester v3 and then pop in the ROMS CD when asked. I get the no game found screen. I #####ed the CD and I can see on the .NES files in the \GAMES folder in windows.

The ROMS (were conveniently) included with Nester v1 or vice versa and the Nester v1 included did not work with boot disc or self boot.

Another unhappy customer here.

for the first problem. I had that problem few days ago. I downloaded it, and it was a bin file. So I was like wtf. so I burn it and load it in dc with the boot disk. and it doesnt load at all. so I poped it in my cd rom, I found a cdi image in it. So i took that out and burn the cdi image. it work and it was a self boot too. and I burn the /games into another cd. that's all abou it. for second problem. try make the directory not /games, try /rom or /roms.
