Freearc mask compression problems
Hello guys. I'm facing difficult to use mask in compression to separate files. arc.groups are not being respected by compression, its anarchy.
Example instead of put all mp3 files in same group to compress it, mask is putting mp3 partially in a correct audio group and the rest of mp3 files are being compressed with other file groups. I dont know how to "fix" to compressor respect my arc.group mask. Does have some freearc command to solve this? |
How many masks are you using?

Yes. Fa 2014 supports 2, fa 2012 supports 3. If you make more, it will cause errors.

Yeah, but however custom masks doesn't work like that.

Not supposed to

This is strange, because I used sometimes up to 4 masks and had not a single error.

If i dont pay attention i will dont notice than freearc is mixing different files with wrong compression masks. I trying civilization 5 which has 1.55gb .ogg files and 1.75gb mp3. I define $ogg=oggre and $wav=msc. During compression only 22mb are compressed with oggre and 1GB with msc, the rest of files are being compressed together to other file types which i cannot distinguish. This happens most to media file types i pay attention. I have problem with bpk too. |

Never happened to me. Here is a example
I checked number of files inside folder and achive and they match, 4699 ogg files and 54 mp3 files in archive and folder. |
