EARTHLOCK v1.0.2 [MULTI2] Fixed Files; Data Folder not Found
 

I'm trying to use this patch EARTHLOCK v1.0.2 [MULTI2] Fixed Files.
I extract the files on my desktop and run the .exe but all I get is this error message. "Data Folder Not Found. There should be "Earthlock_Data" folder next to the executable." The folder in question is right there, directly above the exe.
Any idea how to fix this?

This crack by itself is not enough to play the game. You need to have the game installed (and patched to v1.0.2) first and then copy and overwrite files from the "files" subdirectory of this crack to the installation directory of the game.

Yes, I know that. I'm almost finished the game. It has a bug that won't permit me go farther until I install this update.

First off you DONT install a game on desktop, so what would make you think thats what you do with the patch ? I'd never use desltop to extract to, use a temp folder.

Secondly, make sure your AV isnt blocking the game folder ( add to exception list ) then extract the files from(1.02 patch)in the file subfolder into your main game directory. It should ask do you want to overwrite ? of course say yes.
