i have a MATSHITA
cdrwin says "0:0:0 MATSHITA CD-RW CW-7586 1.00"
and then when i try to load the .cue file it does it and then when i try to burn it i get this message.
"Error:'WRITE' command failed on device 0:0:0 illegal command request (04h 00h 02h 05h 2Ch 00h)"

this is wut i do
1)i open cdrwin
2)click on the picture that says "record disc"
3)i go to "Load Cuesheets"
4)i find the file and load it
5)i click on "start recording" and i do not check off anything at the bottom and i burn at MAX
6)then i get that message

here is wut the .cue file says in notepad

FILE "C:\mIRC\download\####ps2.bin" BINARY
TRACK 01 MODE2/2352

i also tried it as

About 6 weeks ago I had the same problem on my Yamaha 2100S. It shouldn't have happened in my view because of its whacking 8MB buffer. So I e-mailed Goldenhawk and they were adamant that this was a buffer under-run.

So I lowered the burn speed to 4x (from 8x) and the burn went through. I subseuently de-fragmented the hard drive and I can burn again at 8x. If your problem occurred at 4x then try 2x.

I also asked Goldenhawk if they'd got a database of error codes. They said 'no' but they might do it one day.

Please let us know how you get on. It adds to the knowledge base.

Most ####PS2 bin files that i have downloaded didn't work either lol. Try copying from a original.
