slow boot-up
 

after i burned a game, i tried to load it with a boot disk
and it loads half way. the reindeer turns metallic but it doesn't load. is there anything that i can do?

May be a bad burn. I couldn't get CDRWin to work for me and that's exactly what would always happen. Sometimes I'd eventually get a spinning "UTOPIA" CD image on the screen, if I left it for a while.

My suggestion if this is files you're burning with CDRWin or possibly FireBurner, use BIN2ISO to convert the BIN file to an ISO, then burn the ISO instead, using Easy CD Creator or similar.

After I get the ISO burned to a disc, I follow the ECHELON self-boot instructions and extract the files and burn a self-boot version. If you go this route, you can run DiscJuggler to make a .CDI file of the resulting disc, if you want to keep an image file for future burns.
