Anti-Blaxx is dangerous!
Hi Empire, please, add a large warning to Anti-Blaxx, telling people to use it ONLY as the last resort, as it is known to sometimes corrupt the system very badly. Thanks!

i second that, its one really really dodgy piece of software, can result in totally corrupt registry, and its very very old... lots of other software (curerom etc.. work better...) i'd also put a sticky that protstop can also be dodgy too, only difference is that protstop (i think) backs up the registry allowing you to fix things... but anti blaxx should be taken out to a wall and shot... along with its coder :P (actually that should be done to any visual basic coder.. but thats a different argument heheh)

sure, asm at dawn, 10 paces etc :D
vb i always regard as a 'prototype' language, prototype your crap in it, then code it in a real language... course this was in the vb4/6 days, when exe's got bloated .. hello world > 1mb etc, required runtime libs and so on, never ever looked at vb since those days, moved on to asm and c.. main preference was always asm though |
(Got into Java lately, had to translate a 100 kb MS-SQL stored procedure - fortunately, of my own - into it. ;) Java is very nice: easy to learn and remarkably fast, much-much better than I expected!) Yeah, Visual BASIC is nice for little stuff - although I certainly prefer small C programs (mainly general-use pipe stages, like the GNU utilities) and/or batch files for scripting and automizing frequently used procedures, because that is more general than Windows-only Visual BASIC and also easier to edit, compile and run - but for large programs, ehhh... :)
