To avoid the error on install sequence DVD1-DVD2 you need a custom EAsetup launcher:

(builded with Inno Setup)

can also be 'fixed' by removing the launchprogram from property table, which is what i did with all mst files. Installed fine no errors.

But will be nice when your ready to post your conversion, too many people having issues with this one, be it they dont know what version they have or have dvd labels wrong.

wrong is not so, i know enough about msi installer engine.
To avoid the 'wrong disk' error you need custom msi launcher.

Note: The language menus above appear only if your windows language identifier doesn't match the available game's languages,otherwise it launchs only the msi with the right language transform.
The launcher avoids the 'wrong disk' error at end of installation sequence DVD1-DVD2

Thank You Peter! Thank You senseman! Now it works flawlessly.

Now it's working without any error, (Win7 x86). Anyone with errors, just carefully follow the instruction on the first page from senseman and everything must be working fine, (Works for me on MULTI 5 and Limited Edition). Thank you senseman and thanks peter for helping senseman to make this conversion perfect. BTW, I make your conversion for Limited Edition to 2 DVD5 (1 language only). Simply replace unneeded pak files from Localized folder with empty files (after that, Disc 3 folder size is about 600mb - Thanks mroussev for the tip), move contents from Disc3 to Disc 2 (Localized folder and root.cab), edit embedded mst (in my case en-us.mst), change Disc3 to Disc2 in Media table and thats it.

Dumbass question:

Does peter's custom msi launcher works for both Crysis2 and NFSU2 conversions???

Thanks in advance.

The launcher works for all EA games that use localization.ini, autorun.dat and the MSTs as specified under locales label.
You can use it for NSSU2, Dead space 2, so on...
8 are languages currently supported

Thanks as always for your ever kind and clever support Peter!!! :)

im not trying to be a smart ass, i was infering that peter's launcher may have been for this topic only. He updated the pictures to show 3 different games. Originally it was crysis2 only images.

But he's straightened that out, that it will work for any/all EA games will have to keep it handy.

I have spent hours reading thru help forums for inno, just trying to figure out how peter's conversions work the way they do. Rather then just accept it and move onto the next game. The only way to learn, ask questions, & even if I answer, and again im proven wrong by someone who knows far more then i do about these conversions work.
Im still learning and hope that peter still continues to post, as they work flawlessly.

PoweerISO made some trouble with images...now I am getting this error... :/
Thank you all for support!! :)

i have the same problem, any solution?
Thanks for help :D

pakrat2k2 21-04-2011 18:29

yes BEFORE making your ISO's goto the localized folder and make a fake file with the name it says it cant find. ( make a empty text file, then rename it to what you need it to be ) You may need to do that with more then 1 of the language paks, so dont burn the ISO's until you test the install/uninstall without errors

senseman 19-05-2011 14:37

very simple

DVD1=> Disc1
DVD2 => Disc2

Do not use any other name ok :confused:

'Create 2 folders and name them as Disc1 and Disc2

Burn or make iso's with same label names of temp folders'
