Eye candy again! :D, I'm sure this was painted by hand or something then was translated to computer using a scanner, how do you make these? Any tips for us people who make graphics for conversions like we are using our feet if you make that?

Where are your manners? Introduce it to us. :D If you can. Haha.

pakrat2k2 17-04-2016 20:18

His work is impeccable, makes the rest of us & our installers look like 2 year olds with the first crayon set

zirkhaki 21-04-2016 09:22

Thank you dear friend, it's a brilliant setup.
just one thing "is it possible to insert a command in setup file so that it can execute "QuantumScrof.exe" (in root directory of the game) as Admin right after installation?

GTX590 21-04-2016 10:05

Whole conversion must be updated!!!

sied 25-04-2016 09:05

Keeping only one lmanguage will save you about 2GB!!
UltraARC needs twice the size needed to install the game. That means the game, with all languages, is "67GB"
67GB x 2=134GB :eek::cool:

hello my my brother (not for compression 3xDVD5) plus they have a little problem with UltraArc they not compress the games.
so I tested the compression 5 times still the same error
process is stoped
Verifying the pressure well.

GTX590 30-04-2016 07:51

Same isuue with me!!!
Process stopped.
I thinki it is due to that file with 55 Gb size.
I tried different versions of UltraARC but none worked.
So, game must be 8DVD's, since I used CIU v1.0.1.4 with (lzma2/ultra64) compression method and that was my result (8xDVD5).

houcine80 02-05-2016 01:05

Hi
243 download and person report the problem
I think Ultra Arc they not carry great ability to divide as file 54g

GTX590 02-05-2016 01:33

Using internal compression can do it!!!

houcine80 02-05-2016 02:52

yes bro

DVDMan 04-05-2016 11:42

ep999-000.rmdp - 52.7 GB
not included

zirkhaki 04-05-2016 12:48

This didn't work for me too. I used winrar and divided it in 1GB part to be able to write it on DVD and it's result was about 36GB and that's good. I'm sure the problem is the fifty GB file of the game.
I'm waiting to see a working conversion method for this game. I really appreciate your hard work.

GTX590 04-05-2016 15:24

Personally, didn't understand why UltraARC was not able to split the file correctly!!
Process stopped at.... but not finished.
Should ask Razor12911 about that issue!!

I downloaded the game via the Store. How can I reinstall it from this backup and trick the Store into not downloading the whole game again?

Just follow the steps listed in the thread:)
Game latest update "quantum.break.patch.to.v1.7.0.0." just came out, so don't forget to apply it before launching conversion.

Razor12911 06-05-2016 19:53

Try using 7-Zip method instead of Freearc.
Otherwise, I don't think there should be a problem if UltraARC worked on Far Cry 4, There was a 5GB file on that game, which makes it clear that it shouldn't be a problem to work on the 52.7GB file, if Cardinals were used in the program because they have a limit of 4GB, and UA worked on FC4 and there was a 5GB file it means Int64 was used and those have a limit of 9,223,372,036,854,775,808 bytes = 8 exabytes, I really planned ahead.

houcine80 07-05-2016 02:05

start the game in the start menu (Windows) not in the game root

wit 12-05-2016 10:14

i use 7-zip in compression

That's what I said earlier. Game compression should end up in 8 DVD's.
Thanks a lot wit:)

silverdoe 12-05-2016 11:54

I tried to edit UltraARC.ini to split it into DVD9, but ran into ISDone.dll error while installing. Do I have to edit records.ini inside QB_1 too?

NEVER touch records.ini generated by UltraArc. IF you wanted DVD9 then should have edited ultraarc.ini for that size BEFORE compressing game. You cant switch after doing the conversion.

using 7z method failed to compress right off the bat. Memory allocation or something?

pakrat2k2 13-05-2016 22:26

^^ make sure to also remove the Filename extension from the ini file as well. Leaving at cab/bin is fine for freearc, but not for 7z.

Can you upload your UltraARC.ini. I can't seem to make it work with either methods. (actually it worked with 7z, but only normal lvl, maximum/ultra failed, so the result could be 10+ DVD5, I'm running it now to see how many?)
BTW, my game's folder is also encrypted (have lock logo) since I downloaded from the Store. Don't know how to fix it ...
PS: Your compressed files are Data*.arc or Data*.bin?

use this in UltraARC.ini
[Freearc]
Method=srep,exe,exe2,delta,lzma

Data1.bin is ok, but it couldn't compress the 50G file in data2
and then there's the installer's error. ISDone.dll, how to fix that?

Maxgrilo 06-06-2016 18:52

The original game installed at C:\Program Files after converting I can install anywhere without trouble playing later.

Maxgrilo 30-09-2016 20:59

My version is Steam because this strange way that the version of Steam is Microsoft Games.

C:\Program Files (x86)\\Microsoft.QuantumBreak_1.6.0.0_x64__8wekyb3 d8bbwe

It is to change the Setup for Microsoft Game Studios folder

Does not work with the version of Steam the game with only one language has 65.6GB and after the conversion was with just 13GB.

GTX590 01-10-2016 03:38

Use 7zip compression method instead of Freearc guys!!!!!!!
Game must have at least 8 DVD's!!

pakrat2k2 01-10-2016 11:41

Can you update this so it shows as Quantum Break NOT Microsoft.QuantumBreak_1.6.0.0_x64__8wekyb3d 8bbwe in installer, also change
C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft.QuantumBreak_1.6.0.0_x64__8wekyb3 d8bbwe
to C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Studio\Quantum Break\

Size 65.6GB

thanks

prudislav 01-10-2016 12:18
