Thanks to Yener for script, Razor12911 for modifications.


1. Install the game. Update game, apply NO-CD if necessary and delete the folder Original Soundtrack.

2. Download attachment, extract to HD, NOT in Gamefolder.

3. Run UltraARC_mod, Browse/Select Your installed game, then choose output location.

Thank you for conversion, plus has some glitches in it, first think it is not necessary to put the name FromSoftware, Inc., NAMCO BANDAI Entertainment, NAMCO BANDAI more is just a suggestion, now the real problem I saw is that when you uninstall it leaves folders "FromSoftware, Inc., NAMCO BANDAI Entertainment" and "DARK SOULS ™ III" and files "clean.bat" and "Uninstall.exe".

I tested twice installing and uninstalling.

P.S: I modified the installer how you suggested.

I have corrected some details in the design. I added a setup corrected in the main post.

The setup now got better thanks, but the folders and two files still insist on staying, even restarted the system after installation and nothing.

Really I do not know what to say, I do not have that problem, sorry.

I've done this without deleting "_CommonRedist" folder and the result was like this

DVD 4 Size : 82 MB

Please write this in your first post that this folder must be deleted befor conversion so that guys like me do it properly.

Edit:

the first time i'd installed the game with original installer, i'd tested the game and also played for a minute
after compression and installing with this new installer, game runs normally but the player in game can not move or use hie/her sword. he's just standing at his place. i can only use mouse to see around and the keys that should move the person (i mean W,A,S,D) only change the player direction and can not go forward or backwaqrd. I should mention that I've not changed anything in keyboard control management and also checked it and W,S,A,D should be for walking.
Does anybody else has the same problem. Did I do something wrong?

Thanks but the _CommonRedist folder should not be removed from the game folder because the setup is configured so that the libraries are run from there.

Solved. I have placed a setup corrected in the main post.

does anybody know which files and folders should be in that folder, so that i put them back from somewhere else.

I can not download the first attached file "_CommonRedist.part1". I think i has not uploaded properly.
ther is no need to upload it again. just tell me the exact name of the folders and exe files in it. i have them in my other games' DVDs. I can copy them from those DVDs.

CommonRedist folders should be put on DVD in ALL conversions IMO. I don't get why conversion authors insist on leaving them inside the gamefolders.

One DirectX redistributable is 100 MB. Install ten games, you rack it up to a gigabyte. NET framework installers bump it up even more. Seriously. Please. Pretty please. Make it launchable from either first or last disc. STOP doing what you're currently doing as with more games it just takes up space needlessly :-(

Okay, I'll do it in upcoming conversions.

Steam always downloads _CommonRedist again if Steam not detect this folder after an installation from a conversion. So it's not that bad.

Same problem here thought it was the update out more tested it with the old installer and worked without problem even with the update

download the setup fix from the first post. then there would be no problem.
also if your compression results in 5 DVDs as my conversion< you can disable the compression tools like srep,exe,... and get a fast conversion and the 5th DVD would be 1.08 GB with the new update of the game

Same problem for me, after conversion, DVD5 is about 80mb.
If I delete folder "Original Soundtrack" conversion is in 4dvd5?
Or can I do for this?
