really nice design - does it have all these shortcut argumnets included on shortcut? (should be -noRedScreens -review according to https://steamdb.info/app/268500/config/)

BTW: installer shows that 17gigs is required to install even though its 27gig :-/

with the update1, its now at 30.7GB, that's without any mods files as well.

The Launcher is just modLAuncher and iguess does not need the shortut if you dont have the 20gigs of modkit downlaoded for it ;)
but the Xcom2.exe shouldn have the arguments i mentioned

not quite right, the ModLauncherWPF.exe is need IF you have any MODS installed in the game itself, also needs all 3 parameters for that exe to work properly " -allowconsole -noRedScreens -review " reading up on it on cs site.

ok I read somewhere that the allowconsole parameter can cause bugs

As for the ModLauncher ...if its like that it should be at least called ModLauncher and not just Launcher in the shortcut

BTW: the modlauncher exe should have the same parameters as normal exe ;-)

DVD 4 SIZE 4.25 with redist and AMD Dual Core Optimizer

etc. i remove unwant lang leave only ENG it save maybe 1-2 GB

you can remove in XCOM 2\XComGame\CookedPCConsole

wit, you should know by now how to edit ultraarc.ini.

the issue is the 2 highlighted items

ThresholdPercent=5

Firstvolumesize is wrong, Setup files take up 21mb, so that number should be 4480-21=4459... more correct for you 4475-21=4454
You always seems to have issues with that 1mb over so reduce Customvolumesize->4475
ThresholdPercent=30 ( using 5 makes a ton of files ) that why I always choose 30, with more then 1 dvd5 output. IF equals 1 dvd5 output then you can use 100.

In your version of xcom2 was there AMD Dual Core Optimizer, DirectX, VCREDIST, OUTSIDE of _Commonredist folder as well ?, if so delete those 'extras' not needed.
AMD Dual Core Optomizer, would only be needed if running on older XP dual core system, NOT needed on anything newer then that. Could include the files just to be complete.

so did some more digging and it indeed needs both XCOM2.exe and ModLauncherWPF.exe to have all 3 parameters as you said (" -allowconsole -noRedScreens -review " ) and seems like that was just stupid people spreading nonsence

Although i guess i would call the shortcut for ModLauncherWPF.exe as Mod Launcher and not just Launcher as it was before in tis conv

War of the Chosen is just a DLC addon, not really needed to redesign the installer for just added DLC content, but its up to houcine80 if he want to redo conversion for that.

i would say massive expansion (calling it dlc addon is undrestatement) in both filesize (doubles it) and content-wise .... but sure its all on houcine ..(if anything changed HDD eqs would be fine)

didn't realize it was such a MAJOR change to game itself. hope it gets updated for those who asked for it.

This conversions first merging to C and extract to chosen Driver.

Well this not working now as been going over 30 minutes and nothing happening at all, just saying creating dat 1.bin in ultrarc and not moved all just blck screen flashing cursor on and thats it.

Restarted after system reset and left for an hour while popped out, come back and still say doing Data 1.bin and the black screen still flashing cursor only and no files been done....

If I remember right, the ultraarc in this is a very old version and some files would get deleted by the users AV. Better off getting the newest version of UA add the setup from here to your output folder & should work better.

Well did what you said to do and used the R9 UltaArc but that came up error message, but did it with the diskspan in folder and got file from 68.5gb install to 68.5gb as no compression settings and took 30 minutes to do so this was best way to go. But not install properly as finish do in few seconds so need to change something in the files ??
