OK guys this is the version of the game I have.
Just Cause 3 Day 1 Patch All DLC Multi 9 (50Gb)

Credits:

UltraArc = (srep+lzma)

To change compression just open "UltraARC.ini" and edit it then save and quit:)

Install notes:
1)- Install game and updates then Download Attachment.
2)- Apply no dvd if necessary.
3)- Move _CommonRedist folder from game to the last folder "JC3_9".
4)- Download (SteamSetup.exe) from official website and put in "_CommonRedist" folder.
5)- Run UltraArc, Browse/Select Your game folder, then choose output location and compression method too.
6)- Make iso files with the same name of folders.
7)- Test iso files before you burn.

_CommonRedist\DirectX\Jun2010\DXSETUP.exe

Steam:
_CommonRedist\SteamSetup.exe

Microsoft Visual C++ 2010:
_CommonRedist\vcredist\vcredist_x86.exe

Final size after compression:
With srep+lzma:
JC3_1= 4,37*Gb
JC3_2= 4,37*Gb
JC3_3= 4,37*Gb
JC3_4= 4,37*Gb
JC3_5= 4,37*Gb
JC3_6= 4,37*Gb
JC3_7= 4,37*Gb
JC3_8= 4,37*Gb
JC3_9= 1,40*Gb (With Redist)

The conversion may end up with less than 9xDVD5 if you have the "XL Edition" (40Gb).

I think the problem of extension.cab on Windows 10 they come from the 2.0.3.5 version, and more ..... with the 2.0.0.2 release all goes well

Make sure you have enough free space on HDD!!!

could you do alternative setup without the need of steam installer?? (its kinda useless as steam is first think i install on new OS installation)

Game launcher, Redist Folder, etc....

Nothing changed since release. Same exe, same redist (except steamsetup.exe).

Game size is 61gb with all dlcs and updates.

This Conversion script use c:\{temp} NOT {APP}.

might be caused by the insanely long output path

really nice looking installer... but it's just HUGE! maybe make the menu a lil bit smaller? Besides that, pretty nice conversion...

If someone needs to get rid of languages, here is a nice list

I don't tryed it yet if it will brake the game if some languages missing. Just test for yourself.

Saves you up at least 7 GB.

I tried this & no issues so far, saves you 7.45GB.

You could just send files to recycle bin & try game for a bit, & if no issues then empty recycle bin.

Thanks for posting KaktoR, missed this post somehow.. also I've attatched file to remove the intro video. Just read the text file in the archive.

Removing all the language files except English, adding the 2 files for no intro video, reduces game to 52.3GB !

So, please test & report back cuz I'm working on another conversion using CIUv2.0.4 which of course needs file lists!!!

Works fine so far. Have played a couple of hours, some missions and some island paradise destruction.

German only without all other languages.

nice info about the languages, GTX590 ould you do "Eng-only" version of setup which mentiones 53GB in size reuirements?

so which setup.exe should i use when i already have all files (ENG-only) packed inside *.bin files using UltraArc and want to have 53GB in size reuirements during install?

The UltraArc one ({app} folder installation attachment in first post).

and that one has too much HDD requirements during install ... so i guess i need to wait or somehow modifie that part of the installer

That will not be happen.

You have only 2 choices:
1. Use the UltraArc setup.exe ({app} folder installation)
2. Use the other Setup.exe and compress the whole game again using compress.bat

PS: Or you have a third choice: make your own setup :)

welp, thats unfortunate not that skilled to do my own , and repacking whole 50gigs again is kinda overkill for such a small change :-(
I will hope GTX590 will be kind enough to create modified UltraArc-ish version with eng-only HDD space size shortened to 54GB

My second conversion that uses CIUv2.0.4 is much better cuz it installs directly.
no need for merging files as UltraARC does. files are directly extracted.
plus conversion is by default in English only. No changes are needed for this language.

well i for example have the Ultraarc one but for BD-Rs which also install directly, with no merging at all (really love what you can do with UltraArc based conversions without asking the conv maker for help and without messing with filelists).

Would also love just the modified UA setup (with smaller eng-only HDD req) , if you still have the source code for it as its one line change?

Use the one with UltraARC. UltraARC will split the game for you!

You mean a DiskSpan version.
I must redo the conversion with CIUv3.0.0 that handles DiskSpan but I'm really busy these days.

Is that hard to do?

ALL GTX590's work I just updated it to CIU 3.0.0.0 Version ( you can use Diskspan ) the redists go on LAST dvd, just as it shows in first post.
