Project CARS (4xDVD5) IC + UltraARC
 

Thanks to Razor12911 by the contribution of its tools.


4 DVDx5
Compression Method: lzma

1. Install the game. Update game to latest version, apply NO-CD if necessary.

2. Download attachment, extract to HD, NOT in Gamefolder.

3. Move _CommonRedist folder from game's installed directory to the extracted folder (PC_1)

4. Run UltraARC, (in UltraARC not select the box DVD5), Browse/Select Your installed game, then choose output location. In Advanced options select splitting and compression.

It fits 3DVD just fine with srep

Here it does not fit into one DVD5 the first cab, even putting SREP + lmza gets 211mb more.

in " setup.ini " I set the size of the first volume to 4220 to prevent this from happening, in UltraARC not select the " DVD5 " box.

Now it was perfect, just missed create the shortcut with the pCARS64.exe file to be all OK.

until now I realize that there are 2 executables in the game. sorry for this.

did you added the x64 icon or not in the end?

Add missing shortcut to the executable x64.

Here installs standard but still has two problems.

First is the game folder Slightly Mad Studios \ Project Cars \ Project Cars

According to the same setup fix has not created the shortcut.

I have not changed anything but the format of the .cab files to .bin still be with the original set up or fix always the same thing happens the game installs as well.

E:\Games\Slightly Mad Studios\Project CARS\Project CARS

Again does not create the shortcut.
