1. Install the game. Update game to latest version, apply NO-CD if necessary.

2. Download attachment, extract to HD, NOT in Gamefolder.

3. Run UltraARC, Browse/Select Your installed game, then choose output location.

4. Test the conversion, before burning ISO.

5. Then burn folder contents to DVDs with same folder name.

DVD1 - 4.37GB
DVD2 - 4.37GB

DVD8 - 1.38GB

NOTE:

To relieve the texture popping on some video cards, either add
+fs_cachepath "x:\dir\" to desktop shortcut, without the " & change the x:\dir\
to where you want the cache stored.

OR

Go to C:\Users\YOURUSERNAMEHERE\AppData\Local
In this folder, create folder named "MachineGames".
In the "MachineGames" folder, create another folder named "Wolfenstein The Old Blood" - capitalization is very important. ( again without " )

Extract WTOB_Fixed.rar Into Conversion Folder 1.

Don't work. Firs, be 9 dvds. Secondo, when ask for the next dvd don't work.

error is on your end, you didn't do something right, other posts above yours prove that it works fine.

9x dvd5?

work fine with win 7 64 bits
9 DVDx5 without compression
8 DVDx5 With srep ( fixed SP )

WHEN IS srep?

in UA you click on advanced ONLY after setting your compression level & distribution sizes

Button text issues on spanish language. Besides that, working just perfect.

BTW, a tip for future conversions, when you put your ammount of disks, it would be nice if you post the parameters you used to get those.

thanks for the heads up Droppo, I normally use srep,exe,exe2,delta,lzma to get those results.

Advanced settings may not be necessary.
srep,exe,exe2,delta,lzma
There is a preset for that which is compression level 5

that's if I used NEW UA which this doesn't, because of bug I PM you about.

where are you extracting the archive ? ( NOT on desktop I hope ) wonder why so many people do this ?

make sure you have enough free space on HD.

NOP extracting in \H: = 104 gb space, game install in \E:

how much freespace does your C:\ drive have ( temp folder location )

has any settings that do not to use the temp folder during installation? because I have this problem too, and I have to keep changing the local temp folder in order to install.

these new conversions were different from previous ones, as needed before not use the Temp folder for the installation of games. :(:(:(:(:(:(:(

goto control panel > system> advanced system settings
then environment variables at the bottom, change the 2 temp folder locations at the top & 2 at the bottom ( to where you have LOTS of room ) then reboot pc to take effect.

for DVD9 use 7950 or 8430 ( depending on software to burn your dvd9 )

FirstVolumeSize=7930
CustomVolumeSize=7950
ThresholdPercent=100

But that all depends on the media & burning software so have it at 7950 ( like above ) other have it at 8430, so you'll have to test to see what value works best for you.

ps Post back what number you finally came up with that burns dvd9. (don't have any to test )

but threshold should use value of 30

hi, i tried the above numbers and i got 5 dvdx9,the last dvd is 1.00gb.
I could not install it to test because for some reason i took space from hard drive C: and the game was installing in D:...and in c: i didn`t have so much space for the temp files...it looks that the game was merging there and after it was copying itself into D:...

This Conversion script use c:\{temp} not {APP}.
Plz Fix it.

NOT redoing 2 year old conversions, use it as it is or get a bigger HD for your operating system. STOP asking this in every conversion.
