This is from gatosky1620 non-working conversion ( with updates )
Topic will be updated to FULL Game SP+MP shortly.

1. Install Game + FREEDOM CRY DLC + Updates to V1.06.
2. Move Support folder from Installed game to ACIVBF_1 folder.
3. Remove _CommonRedist folder from game, as well as any UNINS* files.
3A. Remove Multi folder from game folder. These can be placed in temp folder on HD to be replaced after conversion.
4. Download attached file & extract to HD, not in game folder.
5. Run Compress.bat, type in your installed game folder & wait till finishes.

Compression Time 2++ HRS ( depends on PC hardware)
Install Time 15mins

ACIVBF_1 - 3.46GB w/Support Folder
ACIVBF_2 - 2.87GB
ACIVBF_3 - 2.50GB

pakrat can you adapt this conversion for the complete game (with multiplayer), please?

sure, will take some time, as don't have the HD space at the moment, but as soon as I can I'll reinstall game, & adjust conversion for both SP / MP. ;)

Hi, i started the conversion, but it's stuck at 10% in Data1.cab about and hour ago, and the time just keep going up. Right now it says that the time remaining is 18:35:24, and that only for the data1.cab

Is there a way the compression could be faster, it doesn't matter if it spans another dvd

its already 3xdvd5.

what are system specs, tested on 2 machines ( 1@8GB, 1@4GB each completed successfully. ) Turn off any background programs, start the conversion ( I usually do at bedtime & let run overnight ) finished by morning.

Core 2 DUo 2.2Ghz
2 GB RAM
Windows 7 32 Bit

I've already closed all other programs.

PS: I know its not a really powerfull machine but it is all i have XD

And what i mean is, can i reduce compression so it is faster?.. It doesn't matter if it is 4XDVD5 when it is done.

edit compress.bat & change every d256m to d180m, see if that helps any, if not lower it to d128m

Still doesn't work, i guess i'll have to wait to try it in another pc....Or another conversion.

Extract this archive to HD, not in game folder.
Move Support folder from Installed game to where you extracted archive
OUTPUT subfolder.
REMOVE the Multi folder from game folder, can be placed back after conversion to play MP part of game.
Open InstallerScript.iss & change bolded part of line to where you have game installed. Save the changes & compile it. You'll also need to compile Langscript.iss too.

You'll end up with bunch of setup#.bin files in output folder. You'll end up having autorun.exe, setup.exe, setup.ico, setup.cab & setup1*.bin files on dvd1. All Setup2* files on dvd2, Setup3* files on dvd3 etc.

This will end up with more dvd's but at least you'll be able to compress the single player part of game like conversion. Test & report back :)

Hello again.. My report: It worked like a charm.

i only changed three lines in the installerscript.iss:

Compression=lzma/fast
DiskSliceSize=765000000
SlicesPerDisk=5

It took about an hour to compile, and 40 minutes to install.

The final sizes were:

DVD1: 3.68GB
DVD2: 3.56GB
DVD3: 3.56GB
DVD4: 3.67GB (With Support folder)

The reason i changed the lines was:

I compiled a first time and with that compression and that DiskSliceSize, the first DVD exceded the limit once you put de Setup.cab in it.

Then i changed the Compression just to make it a bit faster.

Compression took 2 hours and 9 minutes and by removing languages that i don't needed, i got 7.36 GB, 3,6 GB for 1st disc, 3,1 GB for 2nd disc.
Perfect for 2x dvd 5 :D
