Move __CommonRedist in DVD1


1.)Install the game and update 1. Download attachment and extract (not in game folder);

2.)Run Compress.bat, Paste game directory and press Enter;

3.)Wait for finished successfully!

compress 2 hours at DVD3 and not complete. plz check again.

how long do you think its going to take to precomp ~30GB ??? ALOT longer then 2 hrs for 1 cab file. First 2 cabs have no compression so they take little if no time at all. Data cabs 3-6 will take over 8 hrs to complete at least. Let it run overnight, then it may be done, depending on PC Hardware.

whats the memory requirement for this?
I got 3GB and it crashed during compression on dvd3

From ISO requirements need 2 GB RAM!But maybe your processor is overheating!

precomp always fails with big files. I think only peterf1999 has knowledge to deal with precomp.

And sincerely, is a waste of time use compression on this game. The result is almost the same, what's the difference between 6 or 7 DVDs? LOL just saying...

I tried renaming files to EN, so it has exactly the same file names as EN version but still fails at DVD3 operation nr 28.Could it be something else besides language version ?
How much free space on target drive and system drive this compression needs ?

install time: 1 hour 10 mins

hix... split to x7DVD only 10 minutes... For plus 01 DVD lost 10 hour :confused:

Did start convo at 4.50pm and finish at 9.00pm at disk 4 and said all done. what happened then as was going fine ?? ;):)
