Conversion/Graphic Arts: REV0 / Setup Script: yener90 Special Thanks: - yener90 & Fabioddq for compression method - Compatible with STEAM Eng/or MULTI 2 - Supports: Code:
English, Italian, German, French, Spanish, Turkish, Czech, Danish, Finnish, Hungarian, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Swedish, Chinese, Dutch, Japanese, Korean- Version 1.00 - Version 1.00 (Had to re-open the thread and delete the former since there was a problem with code from my end) Nothing changed in setups or compression. - Version 1.10 Fixed Shortcut (After 108downloads) Re-download updated Setup.exe and overwrite current one, no re-compress is necessary- Incoming Updates - I really like music.mp3 but i can add more stuff from it's OST - Installation Time - 1 hour for compression - 10 minutes for installation - Instructions: 1. Install the game. Apply NO-CD if necessary. 2. Move redist folder from game's installed directory to RM2_1 3. Download attachments (2 parts of conversion and compressor) Open COMP rar and extract it's content to Conversion (RM2_V100) folder. Open compress.bat, show your game's installed directory. Optional: There's enough size for 2 additional languages in 2nd DVD. you can add your language files to data5.lst with their respective name and directory. If you want to burn all languages, use my RETAIL / MULTI9 conversion. After compression you will have 5 data cab files 3 in first, 2 in second folder. 4. You can put any extra stuff such as OST, artwork, and other stuff in last folder. 5. Install the game from converted one to test the conversion. (This was fast one so i didnt have time to test it properly 6. Then burn folder contents to DVDs with same folder names. - DVD sizes: DVD1: 3.80GB w/o redist DVD2: approx 3.00GB http://i.imgur.com/6N7uuGM.jpg http://i.imgur.com/iRyx2xT.jpg http://i.imgur.com/c0fG93w.jpg http://i.imgur.com/m8ZksYD.jpg http://i.imgur.com/Ay74RwW.jpg http://i.imgur.com/kludMY8.jpg |

___________________________________ Also a general message to RTW2 players: So, listen up you Total War fanboys; Apparently PC users were just beta testers for console release; Rome 2 is coming to consoles in next-gen. This is also the reason of simplified region system, bigass unit stacks or army information during wars. CA let their game buggy to see how we'll react and fix it for consoles. I personally wouldnt wait any important or big updates from them anymore. As a Rome fan myself, i hesitated to pre-order the game; the best decision of my life seeing this bullshit after all. As you may noticed there are no seasons in the game, 1 turn = 1 year. Seasons = More disk space = Not good for consoles No family tree = too much buttons to click with gamepad or Kinect Less detailed province system = Requires high level IQ for console users Graphic problems = Currently being fixed for console release Incredibly big unit stack in wars = So they can be readable on TVs Victory points = Again very good for kids between 9-12 Still there are some mods (free mods, while CA which was paid for this crap does nothing): 2-4 turn per year mod: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showt...turns-per-year More playable factions: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showt...-this-round-80) Economy and Research Mods: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showt...d-Research-Mod Close combat Mod: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showt...dated-8-9-2013) Radious Battle: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showt...dated-8-9-2013) I'm so done with CA, another developer which is gonna eat some dust with BioWare. The only chance they got is Rome 2 is moddable, that's it. |

Revo, this conversion work with update 4 (v1.4.0) ?

So today i decided to give it another go and installed latest version of the game. Fun fact is CA did another stupid thing, created a mod manager which screws your mod installation and have no customizable options (meaning you cant place mod over other, it's automatically, alphabetical order) You gotta edit them one by one or simply forget the game. You start to think that with all those patches game will become more stable but it actually works otherwise, it was beta already now it has become alpha edition of it.
Since Steam updates it 1.5, there's no way i cant return to 1.0 vanilla, where mod manager and mods were working properly... Well what can i say, i will get vanilla version from 'other ways', and since CA doesnt care it, why should I ? Just a feedback from v1.5 + mods which make the bloody game playable. Cheers |
