*Splinter Cell: Blacklist - 5DVD5*
Script: yener90 CIU v1.0.0.6 Thanks: Peterf1999 for compression method Thanks: REVO for File list and registry entries INSTRUCTIONS 1. Install the game, and the last update v1.01. 2. Download the attached file, decompress wherever you want (not in game folder). 3. Go to game´s directory, move the originals unistall files (example: unins000.dat and unins000.exe) if there, and replace after conversion. 4. Go to game´s directory or retail DVD and move the "Support" folder to "SCBL_1.0\DVD_5" folder 5. Run Compress.bat, type your game's installed diectory and wait for Finished! 6. Make ISO and test before you burn. You can make ISO automatically with ImgBurn if you have installed. nice job on the conversion, btw :cool: |
gatosky1620, can u give info about compression time and installation time ?
|
does it have proper regentries for upcoming patches? (i think they were in some uninstall secion in registry)
|
@haazmaaz
It all depends how strong your PC is. @prudislav I don't know.... But even if it doesn't have, I'm sure they will be included in "conversion update"... You shouldn't worry already about it. @gatosky1620 Great work, it looks really nice. |
is there any way to change compression to none?
|
I think you can change it.
Right click on compress.bat - Edit - and now instead of this part Quote:

Try, it should be pretty fast.... |

No matter what reg entries will you use, for Ubisoft games you need to apply the patch/updates before doing the conversion. So, in order to burn the game to DVD's, you need to wait 2-3 months or more for all the updates of the game. |

I'm just saying man. I am not judgeing you or something like that... I have a big respect for all of your work @fileforums.
I didnt report on that thread because I'm sure you know that about Ushit games. I posted here because I saw you and prudislav talking about upcoming updates for the game. |

@mrmustatza1
".....for Ubisoft games you need to apply the patch/updates before doing the conversion...." Nope, not true. I'm doing it this way. Don't create uninstall key with inno..... ...but include uninstall regitsry keys of the "original" games. Tested with two programs and it works fine - Inno and Setup Factory.... Cheers |

@Newbie I'll try your theory and report back. |

If it says game not found, i'm gonna give you a setup.exe to check which has more regs in it |
its just missing registry entry - it checks somewhere in unistall section of registry

yes, had d/l files extracted & thought had started compression last night, but was an error in copy/paste & it wouldn't accept original folder name, so had to remove 'special' codes from folder name to get it to compress files... about 40% complete now.

I think 2 versions need to be there, 1 for base game-NO updates, and other for game that is at 1.01. |
