MyExecutablePath=Bin32 (remove)

Metro Last Light Update 2
Code:

http://steamcommunity.com/app/43160/...4774395015649/

New update: AMD fixes and FOV
A patch has been released on Steam to fix issues with AMD hardware, and improve performance for these cards. It's live now, but might take a few minutes to reach everyone. Restart your client or verify local files if it doesn't download automatically.

It also fixes a shadow visual corruption bug on AMD 7xxx cards, and fixes an issue with the game starting only in 3:1 resolution on some TVs.

In addition, you can now customize the FOV this way:

After starting the game up, the user.cfg will be updated with the r_base_fox attribute. You can find this in %LOCALAPPDATA%\4A Games\Metro LL\. Tweak it at your leisure!

mystikal242 16-05-2013 19:51

But that update solve the problem with start the installation, because I don't get use the Spawn's conversion and Fabio's conversion.....I have Windows 7 x86 and free space in HDD......>(

Try with this, maybe works.

decompress and put this one with the rest of the files.

on DVD1 you should have:

Autorun.exe
Autorun.inf
Data1.cab
Setup.cab
Setup.exe
Setup.ico
Style.ini
Setup.ini

sarmadi 20-05-2013 05:14

check the file style.ini at launchersettings there's you have to match to your redist folder.

Take a look at the following:

Attachment 6270

Attachment 6271

I removed {app} but it didn't work I think I will give up.

Fabioddq 20-05-2013 12:47

{src} is dvd (use if you move to DVD2)
{app} game path (use if you leave redist folder on game directory)

Use either. Is required or will not work.

sarmadi 20-05-2013 15:41

Of course I have used {app} the first time but it didn't work and then I have used {src}as you suggested and it works. Thanks for you Fabioddq and spawniectes.

Antivirus disabled, not work. Not extract Setup.cab to inno tmp folder.
Thank you for answer me.

akarikk 25-05-2013 11:48

Mistikal242, sarmadi, luiscesar and all others that have a bad installation (missing pics, no video, no background, etc), the problem is that u need a códec pack, maybe u like me already have one, but i don't know why yener's installations (Fabio, and spawn) is they work whit k lite code pack, but they don't warn about it, so, install this pack in your pc's so your installations works like they intended

vasu001 28-05-2013 08:02

what's the final size after compression?
did u include precomp?
also, from the replies it seems that people are having a lot of problems,so is it ok for me to go with it?.....

The result will be the same as mine.
Precomp or srep is not needed for this game. Will not fit in 1xDVD5 even with one language. ie, it is waste of time to use compression.

That error is for lak of space or corrupted data.cab you must have at least 17gb of free space for unarc.

either clean up c:\ OR

goto control panel > system > advanced system settings > environment variables ( at bottom )

change the location of the TEMP folder ( 4 locations, 2 at top, 2 at bottom ). CREATE the TEMP folder first where you have the most room, then change it in environment variable to match your location. REBOOT PC.

An error that hasn't been mentioned, I just spotted is in the data1.lst file.

3- Move to DVD2 your game redist folder

Why move it there if it's been archived into Data1.cab, either that or remove \redist\*.*, from Data1.lst.
But it will still compress fine even tho the files are not there ( redist files ).

Conversion with the update + DLC

DVD1 - 3.83GB
DVD2 - 4.16GB

Fixed autorun & setup ( now at 1014 , install/uninstall perfectly )
Uploaded fixed file, today :)
