I tested the conversion on other PC and it successfully installed everything including profiles and online crap.
However, i should clarify what conversion is doing; When you're applying the conversion, the conversion is also backing up your data. Meaning your Battle.net account information is stored in the conversion so next time you install the game, everything is there, just log in and play, online or offline, doesnt matter. The conversion is for personal use, meaning, it exist to back up your game, so you wont have to download 15GB of content again and again. So pirates; If you're thinking to make a conversion for your game and publish it on the net, you're gonna be fucked up by Blizzard because you'll also put your account info in the conversion. But of course, for personal uses, such as BACK UP (why it's been made), there's no issue with it, like i said conversion works flawless. Long story short, if i were you, i wouldnt use my conversion to pirate the game ;) Cheers |
Added autorun preview, sorry i forgot in first place

I wrote my last message to inform people.
As protection, game controls online legit profile for any Starcraft II profile in it. If you dont have any SC2 profile in your legit profile, you cant play the game, nor offline, nor online mode. If you want to play offline mode, you will still need to check your legit shit online, even once. And you cant do this without battle.net ID. Using random mail etc. is not working because like i said, game checks this random mail to see if there's any SC2 profile registered to it. Since you can do this check only in online, you can play the game offline after that, when you're away from the internet, but regardless fact is right there. Legit e-mail and registration to battle.net is required to play Heart of the Swarm. |

(To clean the thread, Windows XP-related posts have been deleted. Mind you, there's nothing wrong with Windows XP: unless you want to use the very latest games and/or serious applications, it works fine. My installation from mid-2004 hasn't been reinstalled and has since been cloned onto half a dozen PC's among the family. :))
|
Nice conversion as always REV0 ;)
Works fine for me (win7x64) |
Same here HOTS_2 - 3,24GB and HOTS_4 - 0,121GB. I have original + Heart of the Swarm ver. 2.0.6.25180.
|
If someone has a different version than the English (enUS) must edit the file Data2.lst. Replace (enUS) for your language.
http://img824.imageshack.us/img824/8166/starcraftw.jpg Tnx. Works perfectly on windows7 x32. Ups.I uninstalled when the error http://img145.imageshack.us/img145/4490/errorzi.jpg If you move Data4.cab, Data5.cab, Data6.cab, Data7.cab the HOTS_2 can manage to fit into 3dvd5? Revo will your Conversion shogun total war 2 gold edition? |
I am getting quite a few of these with REV0's converstions lately. This is for BioShock, same problem with the uninstall, in Win7 32bit.http://i47.tinypic.com/zkfjgj.jpg
|
I got same two messages for a few times in DMC conversion I did.
If it does not work after few attempts of Uninstalling, try restarting your PC. That worked for me. |

For those of us with the smaller install(my install folder is 13.1 GB) we can get it to 3 DVDs.
1. Download and extract the attachment in the first post by REV0(there should be 20 GB of free space where you extract it to be safe). 2. If you don't have the US version follow the instructions in Ciapa's post. 3. Rename Data2.lst to Data2b.lst Rename Data3.lst to Data2.lst Rename Data2b.lst to Data3.lst 4. Delete autorun.inf and setup.ico from HOTS_4 5. Follow instructions by REV0 in first post(don't create ISOs - you'll have to do this manually). 6. Move everything in HOTS_4 to HOTS_3 DVD1=4.28 GB DVD2=4.29 GB DVD3=3.64 GB(what language you have and the amount of save data will change this but it shouldn't be a significant difference) Tested and working. Edit: Also, for REV0, my StarCraft II directory dump is attached. This is not needed for the conversion. |
