Sniper Ghost Warrior 2 - Eng. Audio + spa subs + CIU 1.0.0.6 DVD9 to 2xDVD5

10 Attachment(s)
Hi guys, here I left you the sniper ghost warrior 2 conversion to 2 DVD5
has support for english audio and spanish subs. If you choose english on the installer will install english full otherwise audio english with spanish subs and menus.

Like always I use a script by yener90 in this case CIU 1.0.0.6

Fixed the registry issue, eliminated what moderator say I have to delete. :D

Update 2 2013-03-22
To fit the game in 1dvd5 follow this insturctions

I think move to DVD1 files "setup.cab" and "autorun.exe" in this step.
The conversion works perfect in Win7 x86 & x64. Thanks

not working in windows 7 64

and you were told to read step #6, which is compile langscript.iss. It creates autorun.exe, which you place in dvd1, then it wont give that error message.

I don't know what's the matter with the installation of _CommnonRedist folder content. I have changed the 1 to 0 and add folder marked in red

for me its working fine, it only will work if you made the iso from folder will not install. if you are trying to test before make the iso try deleting {src} and give it a try.

like this:
Code:

Launch3=Visual C++ Runtime 2010
Launch364=0
Launch3BeforeInstall=0
LaunchCom3=\_CommonRedist\vcredist\2010\vcredist_x86.exe

did you try to make it integrated install? 'cause I had that error with other conversion but it was with integrated setup.exe an external compression and this conversion is with internal compression.

sarmadi 17-03-2013 05:45

Thanks .I will retry to compile again with external compression.

pakrat2k2 17-03-2013 07:29

the reason you cant do internal, is because the setup.cab has to actually be in its setup folder ( not in cab ) so it can directly compress all those files including setup.ini
all into the setup.exe.

Using external just uses freearc files & extracts the filenames, read from setup.ini, to the specified locations.

sarmadi 17-03-2013 08:41

Finally,as the the ROCK said,:D it works perfectly,on win7sp1x64.
Thanks to spawniectes.Thanks to pakrat;I have memorized what you have said.

elbubi 17-03-2013 12:07

Thanks Spawn! Are you planning to release a 1xDvd5 conversion btw?

Kind Regards!

I try but this game is made with the cryengine 3 the same as crysis and it uses the .pak archives and the compression method I try it only reduce the game a few mb the smaller size that I achieved is 5gb and I dont know how to use precomp+srep+lzma maybe that way can fit in 1 dvd5.

Hello, it would be possible to pass it to one DVD5? since my iso occupies only 6.5 gigabytes

no it's no possible by me at least.

nene777 20-03-2013 10:53

In step 6) - open langscript and compile, when I build I get this error: Line 1602: Source file "C :/ Test 3 / SGW2_2xDVD5/Setup/Autorun/Autorun.png" does not exist. Help, thanks.

Now if everything works right, but comes in English and with very rare letters, you can leave audio and voices in Spanish is my game?

okay i managed to get the game to dvd5 i just edit the installer script to make it easy for everyone(just replace the old one)setup.ini also modified.replace that also. _CommonRedist & Redist folders need to be moved out before running bat file(thx pakrat2k2) i forgot to mentions that.

Quote:

1.run the script agian
2.extract the compressor to hdd not in the same folder as game.
3.edit the sgw2.bat change the where ur installation eg: C:\GAMES\Sniper Ghost Warrior 2
4.run sgw2.bat
5.have Patience
6.move the created data.cab to the SGW2_2xDVD5
7.u will have to use trimmed down version of dxsetup so it can fit on dvd5
i hope i did not hijack ur thread mate just trying to help :-)

nene777 22-03-2013 15:47

I'm doing the method dvd5, took 2 hours and still going for 10%, that's normal?

pakrat2k2 22-03-2013 16:29

yes, also depends on PC's hardware, but it can take MANY hours. Best to start late at night, then when you get up in morning its done.

with updates for this game, running your batch file, i end up with data.cab @ 4.42GB... just as a test... not worth it, will stick with 2 dvd5's

nene777 22-03-2013 18:22

I completed the 1xdvd5 method, after creating the Data.cab and put it in the folder SGW2_2xDVD5, now that it's done? and which is a compact version of dxsetup?

pakrat2k2 22-03-2013 20:19

google dxwebsetup its only a few KB. OR delete all cab files from directx folder leaving only exe & dll

hi pakrat2k2 my data.cab is at 4.24gb.

nene777 23-03-2013 07:35

You please put the independent 1xdvd5 2xdvd5 method, because things are mixed and no one knows what to do.

show screenshot showing layout of your data.cab, might be extra files/folders that should have been removed. Your instructions aren't very clear for some of the newer members, and can be too confusing to know what to do exactly. ( easy enough for those of us who've been doing them for awhile ).. thanks for posting as there are always those who want 1 dvd5 conversion, personally i use no compression as its always faster for installing.

mikey26 23-03-2013 08:20

1 Attachment(s)
here is my contents of the data.cab. and my installed size is 5.79 GB (6*224*070*580 bytes)

pakrat2k2 23-03-2013 08:25

i see, you've neglected to mention that BOTH _CommonRedist & Redist folders need to be moved out before running bat file.

maybe go back to your initial post and add that information. will be helpful for those who want 1xdvd5
