Hi guys I finally made it, after 3 days of test, here is the conversion from to 2xdvd9 to 2xdvd5

This can be only posible thanks to yener90 for his CIU 1.0.0.5, fabioddq for his amazing .bat file which I use and modify from his DMC conversion and to the method of peterf1999
So all the credit to them and my most sincere thanks for their great work.

I finally found the damn error, to all the people who download the previous files just have to delete setup.ini from DVD1 before burn or make the iso

Updated to CIU 1.0.0.6
Reorganized files for more equal distribution on the 2 DVD
Add video playback during installation.

Instructions

1- Install the game

2- Download the attached files

3- If you have the survival edition remove all the extra content (artbook, soundtrack,etc)

3.1- also remove redist folder 'cause there's in attached file

4- open data1.lst and data2.lst an edit all files that contain this:
for
are 3 files of this type.

5- run compressor.bat & wait until ends.

6- test the conversion, burn or make isos

Final Sizes

DVD1= 4.3 GB
DVD2= 4.2 GB

And whats the diference this is multi 14 also 1 lang with subs, and if your size its smaller great for you, instead of make fun of my work make your own conversion and post it.

Its a false positive, that file the only thing that do is block the game so it can not access to internet. here is the code of firewall.exe

I send you the bat file and try with it, maybe it's an error when dor the conversion from bat to exe

You're right ferv, but it's seems to much coincidence that he make a 6gb conversion the same exact size of blackbox repack.

No idea, it working fine for me. I will look what could happen.

With wich program you emulate the iso?
Sometimes I get this kind of error when label is defined on autorun.inf delete the label sintax and try. I just keep looking and will update to ciu 1.0.0.6.

ISO was created with PowerISO, even if I change or remove the name of the label does not fix the error.

i had succesful 100 % compression with TR.compress.exe

the instalation goes on successfull till the end,

the icon showed up in the desktop but with different pathway, to drive E:xxxxxx

now i had 2 shortcut of Tomb Raider,
one is the basic in C:
one is the compression in E:

when i try in the Drive E:
the game play smoothly until main menu,,
when i try to select new game, first movie trailer goes smoothly but then,,,
i tried to skip this scene,,,
the game Crash to Desktop ( CtD )
this SS for my problem,,,

shortcut in C:xxx doesn't had this problem,,,

i don't have trouble like the other in this post that i had read ,
like when the compression goes or when the instalation,,

i don't get it this step to edit the file, coz when i tried to right click to select edit,,, the file can't be opened like notepad or bat...

now after compared the file in drive C and E ,,, in the drive E missing file :

total size 1Gb++

now i already copy that file from the source of C
then i try to resume that scene again,,, now the game goes on without problem,,
btw how to edit step 4 ?
if had to separate 3 file in above,,, the file not fit in 2xdvd5...
n will this conversion adding the video ? :D

thats what I mean. the data's.lst are txt files just change the extension to txt to edit but dont forget to change it again to lst when finish edition.

Do you rename the files inside the data's lst to your desired language?
That's the only thing that I can think off. did you test it before burn?

MSE - Microsoft Security Essentials / Norton / Panda have all picked up firewall.exe as Security risk > Trojan:Win32/Sojatkot.A

whatever program you've used to convert that bat file to exe, is what causing that to come up. Virustotal scanned & came up with 8/45 ...

When this error occurs? After click in Install? From DVD or ISO?

I had a similar error, runtime error too because i change language section and had not realized. Maybe spawniectes change some thing in the script.

Check Setup.ini whether or not it became corrupted.

I dont know what the error might be I dont change anything on the script I tried whit english and spanish and I dont have any problems.

In the file date, I changed into Portuguese, perhaps the error. I'll try to switch to English

The strange thing is that when I open the setup.exe directly from DVD1 folder without isos, boommm .. installation begins

when creating yor iso did you choose UDF to make ISO ?
make sure you have ALL setup*.* files, autorun* files, everything is correct for dvd1 & dvd2.

make the iso & mount it, to see if install starts up ok.

Doesn't work. I used UDF to create ISO. If I use UDF/ISO to, it won't allow files larger than 2GB in the image.

The issue is your choice of language. ONLY Languages that have FULL AUDIO at present time:

At the moment Portuguese-Brazil doesnt even have subtitles, which from games forum, they are working on that aspect, and as such for spawniectes conversion, you can ONLY choose those languages that have FULL AUDIO support, you can choose subtitles ingame. IF you've changed the language to one that isnt FULL AUDIO, thats were an error may occur.

There isnt anything wrong with the conversion as it's posted, just be aware of these limitations BEFORE you change the language as its posted in step 4.
