Crysis 3 2xDVD9 -> 4xDVD5 Converter

FreeArc need to be installed on your system.

1. Install the game + any patch

2. Download attachment, extract completely(wherever you want) and launch converter.exe.

3. Select the drive, where the TEMP folder should be, choose path where you installed the game and click on "Convert"
-> You can enable Create Iso function, if you have ImgBurn installed.

4. Burn temp folder or burn the ISO file

DVD1 = 4.35 GB
DVD2 = 4.35 GB
DVD3 = 4.33 GB
DVD4 = 1.24 GB

FINISHED!!!:D:D:D

Time: 10 min :D

you know im an old converter.
i didnt even know that something like this solution exists. but my installer doesnt require it. it works completely like the original installer.

Hi, thank you for the conversion Yener, but i have a litle problem, i have the game updated with 1.1 patch. And when i make the conversion i get these DVD sizes:

DVD1 -> 4.34 Gb
DVD2 -> 4.38 Gb
DVD3 -> 4.33 Gb
DVD4 -> 1.24 Gb

The problem is DVD 2, I tried moving data4.cab to DVD3, and Data6.cab de DVD4, but it still doesn't fit that way.

Any help? :D

Yener's converter make the temp folder for you with the proper layout
just burn each folders content using foldername as dvd label.

I see that but the problem is that DVD2 is being created with a size bigger than a DVD5...

Hello yener90, excellent work as usual, just a small fix the labels within autorum.inf of all dvd's created don't match the labels of the ISO finally created. That's all. Thanks. -

Transparent background
 

Thanks for the excellent work. And just a little question... Screenshots are with black background, but I have it transparent instead. Is that correct behavior or bug? :)

There is new Update v1.2 available. Is it possible to install the game using this installer, add Update v1.2 and convert it again? The reason is that I don't have the original installation images any more.

If you want to have converted version in 4 thin CD covers, here are my custom covers. Below you'll find thumbnails and archive with full resolution images ;)

add the 4 covers to an archive and upload to the forum... edit existing post & add it.

Thanks yener's for the conversion. However I do have also transparent background for the screenshots instead of black.

black "may" have been initial design & he changed it ? Ive done this conversion as well & it is transparent.

I've managed to compress the game to version 1.3 and is installed without problem, thanks.
