1) Install the game

2) Remove the foreign languages folders from (you can also keep two languages if you want):

3) Extract 'BL2_1xDVD5.7z' contents (not in game folder)

4) Launch Compress.bat & wait...

5) Move/Copy from game's folder to 'Borderlands2_DVD5\Borderlands2' folder :

6) Burn or make iso with label name of your choice

Note: if you already made the conversion, to update the game to patch 1 or 2 , delete only Data4.bin file from Borderlands2_DVD5\Borderlands2 folder and then launch Compress.bat.

Peterf1999, why in the second screenshot it ask to put the dvd inside when the conversion is 1xDVD5?

It asks to put the dvd inside only if installer don't find the installation archive, it works like installshield

Can you say path for each data:)?

Why don't you try to guess?:D

The answer is in arc diskpath option (compress.bat);)

F1 2012 its based on ego engine like Dirt3 etc. (the same files) so compress nicely :) packed (arc,pcf,srep) and 50% Quality 720p movies i got 2.30GB:)

You don't need pcf, just a loss of time! Arc+srep (but maybe only arc) is sufficient.
Moreover you don't need to resampling the movies too, maybe 1 or 2 just to earn some space for any future patches. ;)

I'm thinking to do the conversion for F1 2012 1xDVD5 but i need time for the setup's gfx. :)

It doesn`t work. I get an error ( isdone.dll & unarc.dll) even if I have them in win 7 x64. Waiting for answers. The error appears when I try to install the game. I installed winrar, 7zip, freearc and inno unicode and i still can`t install the game.

peterf1999 friend if not asking too much hay possibilities obsequiaras me in autorun script, is that they are luxurious and I would like to set one proprio, suede hands thanks.

The conversion (and the game) works great with update 2 applied. Here. I found some mistakes in my translation and I've corrected them. I've even changed some words to make the translation even more comfortable.

Translation of the words that weren't on the script:
Typ instalacji i wyglad -> Typ instalacji i wygląd
Pictures slideshow - Pokaz slajdów
Video - Wideoprezentacja

A little something I noticed, on computers with Windows x86 it cannot be uninstalled as the uninstaller is for x64, nothing problematic though :p

An issue caused by presence in the archive Data4.bin of unins000.dat & unins000.exe files.

When you make or re-make the conversion, never include the following files in installation archives:

1) Edit Data4.lst file, it should be like this:

I have this programs installed:FreeArc-0.666,7zip,Winrar 4.20 & inno setup 5.5.1 unicode and I still can`t install the game. That`s the error that I receive. (image) Windows: 7 ultimate x64 SP1. The strange thing is that I have that dll in my windows and still asks for it. The dll is in system 32 & syswow64. It happened to other game 2..tell me if you know what do to, thanks.

I did everything from the beginning but same error.
Also have other repack giving the same error

Maybe the problem is your pc, try to re-install the OS:(

Or test ram with memtest. Maybe its broken or damaged. RAM's can sometimes cause this error.

Peter, any chance you could 'fix' the autorun.exe to not have 2 windows tiles (.exe & .tmp both icons showing)(same issue as in witcher 2)? Thanks

Remove only useless Visual c++ runtimes files in redist folder except vcredist_x86.exe, no need to remove dotNetFx40_Client_x86_x64 file.

Catch the Autorun from archive file!

Works great. Only one issue, after installing dotnet4.0 it tried to restart my pc automatically while still installing the game. besides that no problems.

With the new dlc out, I'm doubting this will now fit on 1 DVD.

well this error occurs if-

1. archive is broken which is not your case.

2.vcx64redist [well i forget the real name but u know what i'm talking about ] is not instaled or even if it is then not proper one. For this go to microsoft website and download this 5-6 mb thing from there,install it then run setup..

Nope ... this is what makes you all stupid and shit ... you didn't read it before posting We are NOT a Warez site ... you must own the game first to be able to use one of the Installers from Fileforums. ;)
