-Game's OST was used as background music
-Supported Setup languages: English, German, Spanish, Italian, Polish, French, Russian, Turkish, Portuguese, Brazilian Portuguese

V1.0 - First Release
V1.01 - Actual Release
-Fixed icon
V1.02 - After 602th Download
-Registry Keys added about install location and exe name etc (not very very important
V1.03 - After 1222th Download
-Additional Regkeys were added for Language issues
-Font has been changed due problems in special characters.
V1.04 - After 193th Download
Some minor fix about Spanish language regkey

1. Go to installed game's folder and move redist folder to somewhere else.

2. Download the attachment below (end of the thread) Open installerscript.iss with Unicode version of INNO and change the following line according to your game's installed location:

3. Create 2 folders and name them as PROTO_1, PROTO_2. Move:

-Setup.cab, Setup.dll, Setup.exe, Setup.ico, Setup.ini to PROTO_1

Install-1a, 1b, 1c bin files to PROTO_1
Install-2a, 2b, 2c bin files to PROTO_2

4. Copy autorun.inf and Setup.ico files to all PROTO_* folders, edit autorun.inf like below except DVD1

5. Now move redist folder to PROTO_2.

6. Burn them to DVDs, and enjoy installer music pack during install.

in story_a_to_h.rcf,story_i_to_z.rcf,woi.rcf and movies.rcf are hidden movies .bik
open with ScarfaceExplorer so after downgrade 1xDVD5 is really possible:)

Hey revo having a look at the game there is a german audio track over 1 gb big if u remove it game get stuck on loading screen put it back game works seems like u cant remove that track.gonna give precomp and srep a go and see what compression i can get it too maybe dvd 5 possible and resampling biks.thx to MartinezPL for the info hidden files and pakrat2k2 for the link.

will try replace german track with dummy file and see what happens will report back

Heya Revo thanks for checking on that german audio file.but if i delete or move audio_german.rcf from my game dir the game refuses to just says loading loading have to crash the game.put audio_german.rcf back in game dir and works perfect test on both my machines very weird. i also did try replacing with a dummy file no luck.

Going to try & use Scarface_Explorer and unpack all the rcf files & see how it loads once thats done. Maybe get a bit better compression out of unpacked files rather then trying to recompress those HUGE files.

That's because you dont have necessary codecs, this happened before for some people

I havent installed any codecs on a fresh install of X64 yet & music/sound played fine without installing any codecs yet.

Not from me, making 1DVD9 is impossible current facts. According to mikey, deleting german files cause crashes in the game and dummy files are not working neither. Also it requires re-encoding bik files -means low quality videos, something i dont like in games-

The regkey which define language of the game is '69' currently. I dont know why it's 69 and numbers of others, you need to install legit copy with your desired language then copy it's reg entry.

Hi REV0, and thanks for the conversion! Just tested under w7x64 and seems to work just fine, altough installer background pictures are not showing during install (black square only). Could it be cause I'm running it from hdd instead from optical drive?

languages, pre-requisetes are always listed in the installscript.vdf in gamedir
nice job on new installer, will have totest out precomp+srep ( like syndicate-freearc commandline )

Information: The font (28 Days Later) used the buttons ("font.ttf" included in Setup.cab), not supported accents for use in es, pt-pt or pt-br languages.
