Encoding .usm movies
 

Hello all forum members.
Anyone tried to encoded movies in .usm format?(Batman Arkham City,Witcher2)
I was searching in google about this format and i found ScaleForm Encoder
evrything fine but this tool can only encode from .usm to .avi :(
no support for avi. to.usm
Anyone have any ideas,solution or maybe another tool?
With compression .usm movies smaller size will be:D

found on another forum about USM video files, but mentioned directly witcher2 & deus ex human revolution USM video files......

how to mux it back to .usm movie file

it is failing to extract my friend what to do ? i used winrar and 7-zip but no use (VGMtoolbox)Attachment 9718

use newest version of either, worked fine ( both WinRAR & 7-Zip ) to open that file

I tried as you suggested sir ! but, it is showing me the same error message . Is there any other method getting that file (VGM_ToolBox) :(

Hi ! thanks for your suggestions but , it is not extracting i downloaded winrar 5.10 and 5.11 beta tested both but same error . Also i tried 7zip it is also showing the same error... :(

:eek: i tried downloading the file several times from SourgeForge.net and Softpedia also but both ended showing the same error " Failed to extract or corrupted archive " :(

If you would send me the file it may help me more .. :confused:

I`m having problem converting ADX audio file using Mediacoder it is giving me error. Is there any other software to convert these ADX audio files ? please suggest me on this...

Sorry to revive an old topic, this thread talks about how to encode video to usm, seeking Otherwise, how to decode video .usm normal for playback on the PC video, it happens that I have unpacked the file usm 2 programs (usm_deinterleave and VGMToolbox), with the first 2 files unpacks me a .mpg video format and audio .adx, with the second unpack my .m2v video and audio .adx same, what I really want is how to convert the video (not I'm interested in audio) to a normal format for PC as I said before, because when you play the video with 2 extensions on the PC, looks like this:

just use ffmpeg to combine multiple files into one and yes! it is playable on pc. Just take a look at this tutorial https://www.y o u t u b e.com/watch?v=uNnZCewq74U and I hope that helped you in way. If it does, let me know... just message me. and if interested in audio you should use adx to wav converter which is used my PES game modding groups... download link is at he bottom of the message and you'll find it helpful for sure. If you want to repack it to .usm again you need to get a software called scaleform link is at the bottom of the message . This software works for batman arkham city too...(sorry for my bad english)

I have a problem to decompress the .usm I get double image ... I used VGMToolbox as DCrepacks video explains in his last comment .. look

I tried converting witcher3 adx audio files but it doesnt convert. The exported files are 1 kb in cased of the pes converter and in media encoder it gives an error. Any ideas???

Did you ever figure out how to get around this issue? I'm encountering the same issue with ever .adx conversion for many files.

Not sure how this thread survived so long on the wrong section of the forum, I have now moved it to the correct sub-forum.

UPDATE: Nevermind the error I posted was due to incorrect inputs, I'm fairly sure I've got encoding the audio and video down now! Results are very promising!
