Alan Wake Collection 2xDVD9 -> 2xDVD5 Converter (ONE Language)

FreeArc need to be installed on your system.
BASED ON CI 8.3 :D (Video support)


1a. Install the game Alan Wake including all patches, then Alan Wake American Nightmare

Following step only required, if you used an other conversion before:
1b. Copy from Alan Wake DVD1 the thirdparty folder to the gamefolder of Alan Wake

2. Rename main folder of the Alan Wake American Nightmare to "Nightmare" and copy this folder into the main folder of Alan Wake

3. Download attachment, extract completely(wherever you want) and launch converter.exe.

4. Select the drive, where the TEMP folder should be, select the language which should be left and click on "Convert"
-> You can enable Create Iso function, if you have ImgBurn installed.

5. Burn temp folder or burn the ISO file

DVD1 = 4.27 GB
DVD2 = 4.01 GB

FINISHED!!!:D:D:D

BEFORE TESTING UNINSTALL BOTH GAMES.

Time: 60 - 90 Minutes

must be same bug I had... in Conversion I was working on too. american nightmare worked fine, just alan wake refused to run ?!?!

It works if I install the game from previus 2xDVD5 conversion of peterf999?
Or it required the install from original DVD9?

EDIT : i don't have third party folder inside DVD1 of previus conversion. I have a folder named "Redist" (directx and studio_redistruible inside, 102 mb) in DVD2. Is this thirdparty folder?

yes it is.
copy it to game folder and rename it back to thirdparty.

Hi , I have a question.
It's possibile to burn in one DVD9? If yes, what I do to make it?

rename folder AWAKE_1 to AWAKE and move from AWAKE_2 Data5.cab and Data6.cab to AWAKE folder.

you missed ghost recon future soldier 2xdvd5 or 3xdvd5 and spec ops the line 2xdvd5

I need to automatically run "custom created LanguageSelector.exe" at the end of the installion after redist files. Is possible to add this functionality to this conversion just for me? thx

this conversion convertes game to one language :confused:

yeah i know i just wanna add one text-only language to it which was added latest patches (CZ lang was added in 1.04 for AW and 1.03 for AWAN i think). Wanna make CZ/EN installer(Eng for me and CZ for one friend who doesnt speak english) I already made that lang changing file
EDIT: nevermind already solved his myself

The conversion works, but in the command line of Alan Wake's American Nightmare there is "alan_wakes_american_nightmare.exe" -locale=en" & the game starts in english no matter what. I had to make the shortcut manually to play in my language (it's polish).

Fast compression yener90. Tested in Win 7 Ultimate x64. Great installer. (^^)

DVD 1 = 3.83 Gb
DVD 2 = 3.82 Gb

By the way, nice and cool Game OST music by "Petri Alanko - Welcome To Bright Falls" that been used in the game installer.

Says wrong folder selected when go to select it so cant use this, and other conversion only has one game icon show up not two as thought..
