3) Move/Copy from Game's installation folder to 'Sniper_Elite_V2_DVD5\se' folder :

It's not enough, using Freearc in filter mode requires the settings of external compressors, you can activate it in isdone through srepinside & precompinside

Thanks. Now files extract great. But I have another problem. Your setup creates default folders envs, sounds... Mine doesn't.

Data1.bin -> {app}\envs
Data2.bin -> {app}\Sounds
Data3.bin -> {app}\envs
Data4.bin -> {app}

Languages in Autorun determine the language in installer or maybe also language in the game?

Yes, the autorun installation automatically selects the language and the language in the game ...

The language is set in according of windows user's UI language and to languages available in the game.

e.g:
A french user will get the game in his own language (if it available), although he uses an italian localized installer.

Installs, uninstalls and reinstalls and I can not install there are any errors and I have options in the menu play and uninstall. Setup.exe does not work you can not reinstall the game. Any suggestions?

only play & uninstall means that you didnt uninstall from DVD9 version BEFORE trying to install from dvd5 conversion. It works perfectly just follow instructions.

Can someone help me. I can't get this to work. I extract the "SEV2_1xDVD5.7z" when i run the compress bat there's an error :(
It says:

just extract it to your HD but not in gamefolder

I have a question. I tried the srep+precomp+freearc to compress a folder. The output file is a bin file. How could I unpack it? FreeArc give me an error message when i want to decompress it.

The easy way to type your Game Folder: Drag and Drop your Game Folder into Compress .bat, now you see e.g.:"E:\Games\SEV2". Notice that in your Head and type this Path without ", it will work.

great job Peter. There's something I think should know about though: the autorun.exe's tile (on the windows startbar) just says 'S', not sure you meant it to say that?

Also, is there any way you could include a higher quality sound file in the autorun.exe? The quality is noticeably bad. Other than those two minor things, your conversion is awesome!!

I'd do it myself if I had the script that created the autorun.exe file. Anyone have it?

thanks for the conversion peter, but i have a problem during the install.
the conversion works, but when i install the game, at 98,4% appear an error that say "precomp.exe has stopped working" and the installation dont goes ahead.
i try to disable the antivirus (avast) and run the setup as administator, but is the same...

yes, during the extraction of Data4.bin appear the error "precomp.exe stop working...", and the installation dont go ahead and i need close the setup with task manager because if press Cancel don't exit.

Execute the Compress.bat in conversion folder to re-create only Data4.bin without Precomp pre-compression.

Thanks, now the installation works and extract the data4.bin file.
