1) Install the game and then update to v1.01

2) Extract ACR_1xDVD5.7z.001...ACR_1xDVD5.7z.008 contents

3) Copy DVD9's contents to 'ACR_1xDVD5\ACR' folder

4) Copy from game's installation folder to 'ACR_1xDVD5\ACR' folder the following files:

5) Launch 'repack.bat', select your language & wait...

6) Burn or mount iso in 'ACR_1xDVD5' folder

Can't the recompression of the biks be avoided? Like BAMsE managed to do it?

When it ask for game folder path after launching repack.bat
shall i type in :
D:\Games\Ubisoft\Assassin's Creed Revelations

or

"D:\Games\Ubisoft\Assassin's Creed Revelations"

as the path have space between

you ONLY need the " IF it tells you it needs them, otherwise just enter the path as normal ( without " )

The resampled biks are (not included):

previouslyon_ezio.bik
sp_end_cgi.bik
ACR_MP_SEQ04_L.bik
ACR_MP_SEQ09_L.bik
ACR_MP_SEQ01_L.bik

with the size was 5.62 GB, ie, it is impossible to record on a DVD 4.7!!!

follow the steps properly, and you end up with 1xdvd5 ~ 4.3GB

Is there anyway to compress the files further,So that we don't have to use the downsampled videos ?

its 2xdvd5 not 1xdvd5 tho... there is no way to further compress & get it all on a dvd5
only other choice is 2xdvd5

actually I tried making it to 1DVD5 without compression and i succeeded but i cut it very close, it was exactly 4483MB in size (DVD5) and i needed extra 10 to 14MB to add trainers

it fixes the 'hang' issue but the game is unplayable when you install it... gonna try the other solution or just stick to 1.01 conversion :p

The game works fine:), you did something wrong ...:(

the game crashes on first start, then on second time the game loads till "press enter" after pressing.. no menu appears. instead we get the assassins background screen with music..nothing happens..

the game works fine if we install from v 1.01 conversion and also fine when updated to v 1.02

I can confirm that conversion works. played game again from start to finish with all challenges and achievements and not a single crash

just a note: after your conversion, every time i run the launcher it goes online to download update 1.02 again

if i change the value

the launcher does not download update again

please note that installing from original and applying update manually does not cause this issue

can you add this value modifier in your loader?

1) Install the game from previous conversion v1.02

2) Extract 'ACR_1xDVD5_v1.03.7z' contents

3) Copy & overwrite all files from 'ACR_1xDVD5\executables' folder to game's installation folder

4) Copy the foreign languages sounds_*.pck files to game's installation folder 'SoundData\pc' (need to be extracted from original DVD9)

5) Update the game to v1.03

6) Remove the foreign languages sounds_*.pck files from game's installation folder 'SoundData\pc'

7) Copy DVD5's contents to 'ACR_1xDVD5\ACR' folder

8) Copy from game's installation folder to 'ACR_1xDVD5\ACR' folder the following files:

9) Launch 'repack.bat', select your language & wait...

10) Burn or mount iso in 'ACR_1xDVD5' folder

Oops, some registry entries required by dlcs was missing, now they are fixed
