Need for Speed: Shift DVD9 to 2xDVD5
 
who can help to conver NFS Shift for 2 dvd 5 please.

1 Attachment(s)
1.) Create folders 'Disk 1' and 'Disk 2' (that's label name) and copy content of DVD9 to folder 'Disk 1'

2.) Download autorun.dat and extract him to 'Disk 1' and say yes to overwrite from attachment below.

3.) From 'Disk 1' move 'Group4.cab' and 'Group5.cab' to 'Disk 2'

4.) From 'Disk 1' copy 'Support' folder and 'shift.exe' and 'autorun.inf' to 'Disk 2'

5.) Edit 'autorun.inf' in 'Disk 2' folder to like this:

Icon=shift.exe
Name=Need for Speed SHIFT


6.) Burn or make iso's with label Disk 1 and Disk 2


Install Sequence: DVD1 - DVD2 - DVD1

DVD 1: 4,12 Gb
DVD 2: 1,31 Gb

Thanks pakrat2k2 your conversion works fine. Tested on Win7 rc. Working on sklado conversion now (Install Sequence: DVD1 - DVD2), hope it's works too.

sklado conversion worked.
Install Sequence: Disk1 - Disk2
installation finishes at disk 2 but you still have to put disk 1 and cancel the autorun error.

No Need for 2 Disk conversion, install the game and Compress the Game directory (~5.2GB).
Depending the self extracting method (rar, 7z, inno setup) you will get about a 3.5-4GB installer.
It's much cleaner that way and no registry messing.
It worked for me on WinXP Sp3 32bit and win7 64bit.
