I recently purchased Trackmania United off eBay and it works fine, but the DVD version I bought is v2.0.8. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be a No-DVD crack for that version, only for v2.0.9 (which is the downloadable version) and v2.1.0 (I'm not even sure what one that is). Neither of which work on 2.0.8 and neither can be found on the in-game updater. v2.0.8 is apparently the latest version for the DVD release.

I've recently learned of Mini Images though, which I imagine would work for any version and would be nice to cover me for any future updates that might come out. I haven't found any though, if any exist. Anyone know of any for Trackmania United? Is it possible to make my own?

Otherwise, does anyone know of any No-DVD cracks for v2.0.8?

There's a link to the official v0.2.0.9 (offline) update on the game's page at GCW. (It is explicitly mentioned at the crack for this version!) As for mini images, the PC Games forum FAQ links to a few guides on how to make them yourself.

Doesn't seem to be working. I click "Check Now" and I get a HTTP/1.1 404 Object Not Found error. So I found the update on a different site, and I'm getting this error when I try to run it:

"You can install Trackmania United 0.2.0.8 only if TmUnited 0.2.0.0 - 0.2.0.2 - 0.2.0.4 - 0.2.0.6 is installed."

Though the file I downloaded was:
TmUnited_DVD_Patch_2006-12-15_Setup.exe

Which according to the GameCopyWorld site should be the 0.2.0.9 update.

Any help please? :)

the v0.2.0.9 update and the v0.2.0.8 update are the same. Its just that the updates for dvd-version end with a staight(? correct spelling?) Number like 2,4,6,8 and the updates for dl-version have the other numbers.

so the v0.2.0.9 fix should work just fine for you, as it does for some friends of me who own the dvd version and told me that it works perfectly.
Cant test myself, i own the dl-version but for that it works like a charm.

And this is why trymedia cracks etc should not be allowed.

The download version of the game has different CRC, file structures etc, so it will not work with DVD version.

Well, I am running Trackmania United without any problems via Image.
It is protected with StarForce 4.50.007.003 and can be emulated by Daemon Tools!

Mounting images isn't really the way to go with StarForce...
I'd rather use a crack, eliminating the need to use SF's drivers.
Besides I don't have DT Pro Advanced, are you mounting it via vIDE or normal virtual drive ?

I don't mind mounting images if it works. I tried simply ripping an image via ImgBurn myself and it didn't work... so I'm guessing this Daemon Tools Pro and Starforce-Profile is the only way to go about it.

Unfortunately, I don't have Pro and I don't know what the other thing is. Are you using some sort of mini-image you might be able to upload somewhere, or is it a full ISO image?

Well, Daemon Tools Advanced Professional has two ways to emulate virtual drives. First one ist the "all known" SCSI-Emulated Device (aka Daemon Toos Lite and afaik all other tools out there). Second is the worlds first virtual IDE Emulated Drive (vIDE). Some protections refuses to run via SCSI-Drives in general (they would also refuse to run from physical scsi drives as well) so the vIDE is in some cases "the only solution". (DT Lite + Yasu will do the job also on most titles, but newer updates won´t at the moment because of blacklists).

The TM United Image runs fine in the virtual SCSI-Drive of DT Lite V4.11, no need to use the pro version here.

Well, there is a trial version of Daemon Tools Pro (Without vIDE, but it doesn´t matter for the above mentioned game). Please google it because I don´t want to do much more advertisement here.

Maybe also trial version of alcohol 120% might to the image-trick.

@Muji-Fighter. Well, I had no real problem with starforce ever (besides the image-creation-destroying-capabilites of the driver) which newer versions does not contain any longer. Starforce V4.xx versions are "friendlier" than Securom or Safedisc because they don´t blacklist so much.

Kay... I will upload my .mds file to rapidshare. Swap this file with your own (needs an image created via alcohol or daemon tools pro) and you should get a working image.

Not shure, make a try to mount only the **.mds, if it's not possible, rename it to **.mdf and remake a try.

the mds and mdf is like the cue and bin, you can't create a bin from a cue because the cue only tells you the track and length.
the mds only has the media info while the mdf carries the disk itself.

I have no problem at all since I create my own mdf and apply the mds given.
But this was just a try. For this kind of Starforce games I prefer the crack over the image.

Well, you can´t fake this starforce version with mounting "any file named as xy.mdf".

I tried to generate a mini-image, but was not succesfull. A completely zeroed .mdf with the original filesize doesn´t work either. So I came to the conclusion that you NEED the full disc because of maybe a random sector-check.

Maybe poseden could drop a few lines here if he reads this, because he seems to be very skilled in creating mini/maxi-images.

Hello,I'm looking for old Trackmania United patch.
They are a Google Drive folder contains several patches of the different trackmania games but a lot are still missing. I noticed someone posted a link to gameshow but the site no longer exists.

I know that on this site there were versions 2.0.0.2 up to 2.0.0.7. I would like to know if anyone on the forum still has one of their patches and can share them with me.
