As FIFA MANAGER 08 is not officially available yet (only in a few stores) only a few ones already own it. Thats why there is no crack yet. Unfortunately SecuROM 7.33.0017 [thx CDKiller ;)] has been updated so yasu + DT PRO (even with vIDE) doesn't work cuz of DT blacklisting. The ultimate solution in this case is Game Jackal. Newest version has anti-blacklist features and makes the game run without image or orig DVD.
Just follow instructions on screen. Should work fine.
This may also work with other games which won't run with DT pro yet, for example SEGA football manager 08, world in Conflict, Jericho......;)

I have submitted the fairlight Crack to the main site. Should be up within the next update.

There are a few new methods to run this game for all who don't like game jackal:

- DT 3.41 + SecuROM Loader 1.1 with modified .dll (win XP only)
- DT 4.06 + Yasu
- making an image with Virtual CD 9.1 and than mounting in phys. device

Seems to be a strange version of SecuROM. New emulationsoftware and emulation methods are blacklisted (excepting GJ and VCD) but older tools and methods aren't.
All these methods are confirmed but I only tested the GJ method (the best for me) ;)

how do you mean modified dll? some one you patched or some one that was released?

It's just the AlkiSecuROM way of renaming and fitting dll name in the exe

The posedon mini-image didn't work for me with with DT 4.06 and Yasu.

At least not with the .mds-file that poseden provided.
After I replaced posedens .mds with my own created .mds-file from my original disc and renamed it to fit to the provided .mdf-file it worked perfect.

So I suggest you create your own .mds-file or wait if poseden updates theirs.

jefo, tell us some more information: Your OS, DT/Alcohol version, using YASU or not, ...

The image doesnt work. Getting same error as jefo.

Have tried with multiple versions of DT (4.09 + 4.06), along with each combination of YASU versions I could be bothered to try (1.4 + 1.3).

Have tried also getting a different .mds file and renaming to match the poseden .mdf name - didnt work.
Have tried also changing the virtual drive letter in DT to my physical drive letter (after disabling physical drive) as suggested by someone somewhere - didnt work.

Have also tried all 1.1 fixed exe's (vitality) that I could find on GCW and elsewhere - didnt work (game just crashes to desktop after an amount of time)

In short....I have yet to find a method that works without the original DVD. They really did a number with this protection.

I've just got it to work with DT 4.06 and YASU 1.3.

I have no idea why it has just decided to work, but I tried both these versions together yesterday with no luck.

Today, its working.....even after I patched the game with EA's patch.

The only thing different I have done since yesterday (when I first started testing with no luck) is that I've re-downloaded DT and YASU from different locations today than the ones I got yesterday (if that makes sense)....they are both still same versions as the ones I tried yesterday tho, so I have no idea why that is.

Advice for those who havent got it working yet.....keep trying.....download DT and YASU from as many different locations as you can find until one works......thats all I did (and yes I know, it's weird).

So, where did you get them from (other than the official downloads, along with mirrors) that they work? Have you done a byte-by-byte comparison between your downloads and the officials ones?

I'm not sure I'm understanding what you mean brother, but if you mean what I think you mean, I had already deleted all versions that I tried from yesterday (and I had that many, its hard to track where I got them from) so a comparison is not now easy to make (sorry).

More additional information (and this is probably way more relevant) is that this time I did something different in DT options. Now I only have securom emulated (yesterday I had all emulations on), and also, turned "automount" feature off.....these are the only different things I have done with DT since yesterday (I've only just thought of that, and its probably more relevant than my previous post).

In Yasu, differences from yesterday are, turned off safedsic cloaking (its on by default) and only have securom cloaking enabled.

Sorry, should have mentioned these things right off the bat, but i'm new to this kind of thing.

You have a Daemon Tools and/or YASU installation package that "works". And that's probably NOT the official installation package that can be downloaded from the obvious location - the Daemon Tools/YASU homepage -, otherwise what would be the point in searching for other downloads on the Net. That's what I don't really understand...

So what's the different between your download and the official ones? You have yours, download the official ones, compare them. Are they the same? If so, you only managed to change something in the configuration and that's the only reason why the game started working.

Yep the main reason why I didnt get YASU from the official source is because on their site, I couldnt find a link to older versions, and I wanted to test all versions that I could (especially 1.3, since this is the version that is shown on the GCW fifa manager 08 page - and the latest version, the one they have on official yasu page, is 1.4), and I thought this is one of these niggly little problems that will probably be fixed by a niggly solution like using an older version (ha).

so unfortunately, I cannot find v1.3 on the official page and cannot compare.

As for DT, exact same thing. Couldnt find the specific version I wanted to test, so had to get it from unofficial channels.

If you can find the links to yasu v1.3 and DT 4.06 through official source, I would be more than happy to make the comparisons and get back to you - to be honest though, I'm starting to think that it's more likely that the difference in the options is what did it.

Ehm, I didn't find older releases on either homepage...

But I don't think that's a very good idea anyway. A newer release of a free software is pretty much always better than an older one because a free software's aim really is the satisfaction of the end user, not making money or stuffing in more and more useless functionality that noone uses anyway.

^ totally agreed with your sentiment there.

On the other hand though, my favourite app sites are the ones that archive all their old versions (even if its just to document their walk through history), and often (like with apps like MAME), new functionality is'nt tested well enough, or old functionality is prefered by the user)....this happened recently with me and MAME, whereby I went back to using an old version because I didnt like the path the new version walked down. So I can subscribe to both types of thinking, but choice is nice!

anyway sorry, i'm rambling. I hope someone else gets this game working the same way I have. The last thing I want to say here is that the first thing I came in saying was "these images dont work". Apologies for that, there is nothing wrong with the posedon mini images, theyre fine - it's the options in the apps that have to be spot on (or it's the version thing)....one or the other, but the images DO work.

Hi all, I tried all the above, but no one seems working 4 me, I tried DT 4.06/4.09/Pro 4.10, but I had not joy at all, tried with alcohol, done few combinations.....but all I get is "conflict with the emulation software", I have the "fix image" from the site + "mdf/mds" image.......nothing at all, can some1 explain to me wot's the problem is? Thanks in advance.

Get the very latest Daemon Tools, mount the mini/maxi image, run the game (with the original, copy protected EXE); there's not much more to it than this...

Hi, I have both the mini, maxi......wot do u mean by "with the original, copy protected exe"? And then I have another question, wot about YASU, do not need that anymore?

I just tried with DT 4.10.218, and the exe copy protected, but still have the same message back "conflict with emulator software", there's no other ways to go around this, mayb modifying the Fm08 1.1 (no-cd/dvd), making that working? Thanks

Contact Daemon Tools for letting you upgrade your 4.10.0218.0 to 4.11.0219. There seems to be some error with your account at disc-soft. BTW where have you downloaded 4.10.0218.0?

Yes, game works very fine in 4.11.0219 in virtual ide drive.
